JEE Main 2024 Syllabus: NTA revises syllabus, deletes some topics

The application process has been initiated by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2024, which will be held in two sessions in January-February and April next year. The NTA has released the JEE Main syllabus for next year’s exams, with some subjects removed from Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.

In addition to the list of deleted subjects, NTA has also released online registration forms and candidates who want to register for the JEE Main Exam 2024 can register through the official website jeemain.ntaonline.in and fill the registration form. The last date for submitting the JEE main application form is November 30, 2023.

Students are advised to prepare for the exam as per the revised syllabus. The exam for the JEE Main 2024 will be held from January 24 to February 1, 2024. For the April session, the exam will be held from April 1 to April 15, 2024, at various exam centers across the country.


NTA has consulted with all boards

NTA Director General Subodh Kumar Singh told The Times of India that the agency had held consultations with all the boards and after all these discussions, the expert committee had prepared the syllabus.

Students are happy with the revised syllabus as it gives them more time to prepare for the remaining topics. The experts have advised the students to practice solving the previous years’ questions to understand the difficulty level and exam pattern.

The NTA has made significant changes to the syllabus; many topics have been removed from physics, chemistry and mathematics, and a few topics have been added to physics as well. You can view the revised syllabus below.

  3. Fill in your login details with your name, number, email address, etc.
  4. Upload scanned photo and signature.
  5. Make payment for JEE Main 2024 exam
  6. Download the confirmation page for future reference.
