JD Vance hits back at racist attacks on Indian wife after white supremacist made vile comment about his family

JD Vance called far-right commentator Nick Fuentes “a total loser” over racist comments about his Indian wife Usha.

Additionally, Vance said that Donald Trump, who previously dined with Fuentes, criticized the far-right commentator.

Fuentes drew the ire of the right when he criticized Vance for having an Indian wife, questioning whether “we really expect that” [Vance] who has an Indian wife and named their child Vivek, is going to support white identity’.

Vance slammed Fuentes in an interview on Sunday, saying he was “disowning” him but wanted to remain focused on the important issues in his and Trump’s campaign against Kamala Harris.

He said of Fuentes: ‘Of course Donald Trump criticizes this person. Look, I think this guy is a total loser. Sure, I reject him.’

Vance told CBS he thinks the best policy to stop Fuentes is to “ignore” him.

“But if you ask me what I care about more, is it a person attacking me personally, or is it government policy that discriminates based on race? That’s what I really care about, bad government policy that harms people based on their immutable characteristics,” he said.

However, he admitted that “many losers will attack me and my family.”

“I think the right response is to ignore them. Don’t feed the trolls and they largely disappear,” he added.

Trump dined with Fuentes and Kanye West at his Mar-a-Lago resort in 2022, drawing widespread bipartisan condemnation.

The Ministry of Justice in a Complaint 2021 called Fuentes, an alt-right figure, a “white supremacist” and “America First” podcaster.

In an episode of his podcast, Fuentes said ‘jokingly’ denied the Holocaust and compared Jews burned in Nazi concentration camps to cookies in an oven.

A source who spoke to us, NBC News told the newspaper that Trump was captivated by Fuentes who “posed as a statistician.”

They added: ‘He was very knowledgeable about polls and Trump’s campaign. Trump was very impressed, but Trump didn’t know who he was.’

“This is a fucking nightmare,” said a longtime Trump adviser who spoke on condition of anonymity.

Ye also confirmed in a video on Twitter that Trump was “impressed” with Fuentes.

“Trump is really impressed with Nick Fuentes, and Nick Fuentes, unlike so many of the lawyers and so many of the people he had during his 2020 campaign, is a loyalist,” Ye said.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump said he did not know Fuentes before the meeting and provided an explanation of the encounter with the rapper.

“Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, asked me for advice on some of his issues, specifically regarding his business,” Trump wrote in the message.

“We also talked, albeit to a lesser extent, about politics. I told him that he absolutely should not run for president. ‘All the voters you have should vote for TRUMP.’

“Anyway, we got along well, he wasn’t anti-Semitistic, and I appreciated all the nice things he said about me on ‘Tucker Carlson.’ Why wouldn’t I agree to a meeting? And I don’t know Nick Fuentes.”

West would go on to hail Fuentes as a Trump “loyalist” and support for the storming of the Capitol on January 6, 2021 by citizens loyal to the then outgoing president.

Many expressed their dismay over the sighting on Twitter, as both have recently gone on anti-Semitic rants.

Fuentes began to gain notoriety in 2017 after he dropped out of Boston University following claims he received “threats” after attending a white supremacist rally, Unite the Right, in Charlottesville, Virginia, according to the Anti-Defamation League (ADL student).

He also hosts a livestreamed program called America First, which ADL says has a “cult-like following,” with fans called Groypers.

The young man uses his various platforms to spread anti-Semitic and racist comments and has denied the Holocaust on multiple occasions.

During one of his livestream episodes, he reportedly compared the burning of Jews in concentration camps to cookies in the oven.

Fuentes’ stance is primarily focused on preserving white, European-American identity and culture, and he also promotes the conspiracy theory that the white race is on the verge of being destroyed by white genocide.

He once said, “I don’t see Jews as Europeans and I don’t see them as part of Western civilization, especially because they are not Christians.”

Trump was censured for dining with Ye and Fuentes in 2022, even though the former president said he did not know the identity of Ye’s companion beforehand
