‘Means nothing if we lay an egg on our home court’: Jaylen Brown warns Celtics they have achieved NOTHING yet, with Boston on brink of NBA history after leveling series with Miami Heat from 3-0 down

Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown has urged his team to seize their chance to make NBA history after fighting back from 3-0 to force Game 7 in the Eastern Conference Finals with the Miami Heat.

Derrick White’s buzzer beater gave the Celtics a 104-103 victory to force Game 7 on Monday night in Boston as the Celtics attempted to become the first team in NBA history to reverse a 3-0 lead .

It was thrilling to finish in Miami on Saturday night, but Brown broke the chaos and mayhem when he warned his team that they haven’t done anything yet.

“This means nothing if we come back and lay an egg on our home field,” said Brown.

Jaylen Brown’s focus is straight on Monday, despite Boston’s epic victory over Miami on Saturday

He added at his post-match press conference: “It just takes togetherness.

‘Everything went wrong. Then you begin to see the character of yourself. Then you begin to see the character of your group.

“Don’t measure a man when things are going well… measure a group when adversity strikes.

“It hit us like a storm. It can’t get any worse in the playoffs than how we played. And look how we reacted.

“Because we lost three games, no one has ever come back from that. it’s only what, four or five teams that were able to force a Game 7 (from 3-0 down).

“That just says that the group we have is unique, the group we have is special. Sometimes you just need a bit of luck to bring it home. Tonight was a great game and an incredible game at the end.’

The Celtics were one-tenth of a second from elimination when White scored on a putback after time expired.
