Jay-Z asks all New York City residents to support him in his efforts to open a casino in Times Square.

Through his entertainment agency Roc Nation, the 53-year-old rapper wrote a blueprint on why he thinks his company should get the contract to open a casino in the city.

After three casino licenses were awarded to New York City last year, many high-profile bidders have been vying to secure the chance to open their own casino.

In the letter, the record producer insinuated that his company’s partnership with Caesars Palace would benefit city residents.

The entrepreneur stated that their “innovative plan” proposes to “attract additional tourists to our city” and “improve the lives of everyday New Yorkers.”

The New York native, who is bidding for Wynn Resorts and Mets owner Steve Cohen, laid out his plan to open a casino in Broadway’s famed theater district.

According to his letter, “Caesars Palace Times Square” will not take away theaters in the area, but rather “protect the interests of the actors, producers, theater staff, writers and patrons who represent the true heart and soul of Broadway.”

He also said his company’s offer will unlock $115 million for “diverse theater programs,” including childcare for employees and their families.

Implying that their competitors are selfish, he said in the letter: “The winning group must have a track record of putting words into action — in putting New York City and its people — people of all races — first. , religions, ethnicities, genders. , sexual orientations and socio-economic statuses.’

“The winning organization must have a history of campaigning for fair hiring, representation and reform,” the statement continued.

“Hate, as well as groups that have a history of oppressing the most vulnerable, have no place in New York,” he added.

In the letter, Jay-Z also listed the reasons why his company deserves the casino license.

He suggested that the Times Square casino “give back to all surrounding businesses” and “benefit public transportation.”
