Jay-Z and Nicki Minaj have been ranked by Billboard as the best male and female rappers of all time.
The publication released its “Top 50 Greatest Rappers of All Time” on Wednesday, in honor of hip-hop’s 50th anniversary.
When it came time to name the rapper GOAT, Billboard put none other than Jay-Z, whose real name is Shawn Corey Carter, at the top of their list.
Meanwhile, Nicki peaked at number 10, officially making her the only female on the top ten list, and thus the greatest female rapper of all time.
Rap legends like Tupac, Eminem, The Notorious BIG, Snoop Dog and Nas also made the top 10.

Billboard claimed that Nicki, 40, from southern Jamaica, earned her crown as the modern-day Queen of Rap with her fierce, braggart spirit.
The publication wrote, “Without question, she paved the way for the next generation of female MCs while at the same time building a legacy whose impact is not limited to the world of hip-hop.”
“Nicki is one of a dozen artists to have over 100 Billboard Hot 100 entries and won the 2022 MTV Video Vanguard Award for her provocative music videos.”
Nicki, who rose to fame as part of rapper Lil Wayne’s Young Money camp, is reportedly now worth $130 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth.
Billboard then highlighted some of the hit moments from Jay-Z’s career that landed him in the number one spot.
The 53-year-old rap mogul has won 24 Grammy Awards, sold 140 million records and has 14 Billboard 200 No. 1 albums (the most among solo artists).

She tied for fifth place on Forbes’ list of the richest stars with Kylie Jenner in 2018.
