Jay Leno’s wife Mavis says she ‘feels great’ at Unfrosted premiere in LA after dementia diagnosis and conservatorship was granted
Jay Leno and his 44-year-old wife, Mavis Nicholson Leno, enjoyed a date night at the Hollywood premiere of the Netflix film Unfrosted on Tuesday — three weeks after an LA County Superior Court judge granted his conservatorship over her diagnosis dementia.
‘I feel great, yes!’ the 77-year-old philanthropist said AND on the red carpet of the Egyptian Theater.
The former Tonight Show host added: “I thought I’d do something fun for a change. Everything is so controversial. Just to come to a funny, silly movie: it’s great. I think people will have a great time. Well, we hang out every day. We’re having a great time. 44 years! So we’re doing well.’
Jay may have turned 74 on Sunday, but he said they didn’t do anything special because he’s “not a big birthday boy.”
“None of us [are]!’ Mavis added, leaning her head on Leno. ‘We just have each other.’
The two-time Emmy winner agreed: “My life is a party anyway, so every day is a good day.”
