Jay Leno is on the mend as he leads the stars at amfAR Las Vegas with made-up face after serious fall

Jay Leno appeared to be on the mend as he attended amfAR’s first benefit event in Las Vegas on Friday after suffering a serious fall.

The 74-year-old former host was seen in recent days with a disturbing black and blue bruise on his face after falling 60 feet down a hill in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Leno seemed in good spirits about the affair as he walked the red carpet in a navy blue suit and matching patterned shirt.

The veteran comedian showed off his famous smile and his face looked significantly less battered, although he was likely wearing makeup to camouflage the damage.

Speak with Inside edition after the incident a week ago, he said: ‘I broke my wrist and lost my nail on the finger. I’m all black and blue from colliding with rocks for 60 feet.”

Despite the serious fall, the seasoned professional performed a show in Greensburg just hours later.

Jay eventually traveled home to Los Angeles, where he performed again on Sunday night.

The Hollywood actor said earlier this week that he had not yet seen a doctor, but planned to.

It comes two years after he was severely burned when a vintage 1907 motorcycle he was working on exploded in his face.

Leno was hospitalized at the time after the fiery explosion in his private garage, where he keeps his collection of vintage cars.

George Swift, a mechanic at the garage, told it later AND that it was a steam car that sent Leno to the hospital.

‘It was a steam car. This steam was made by means of gas. It was sprayed like gas,” the car professional said.

“He called me and told me there was a fire and the fire brigade was coming,” the employee added.

Also at Friday night’s star-studded gathering was Sylvester Stallone, 78.
