Jaw-dropping clip shows Taylor Swift’s wild hair transformation during Sydney concert due to humidity

An Australian Swiftie has shared a clip on social media that captures the stunning changes in Taylor Swift’s hair as she performed in Sydney on Saturday.

TikTok star Lucia Pang posted a clip to the platform showing Swift starting her concert with her long blonde hair styled perfectly straight around her shoulders.

However, as the night went on, Swift’s hair became increasingly wavy and she was later seen with a wild and frizzy mane, presumably as a result of the muggy weather.

“Sydney’s humidity versus Taylor’s hair. Swift’s hair transformation,” she wrote alongside the clip.

Many of her fans quickly went wild over the hilarious footage and took to the comments section to share their thoughts.

‘This was confirmation. It’s so hard to be cute in the Sydney weather,” one fan joked, with a second person adding: “I went to the show in Melbourne and thought about this the whole time.”

The pop superstar has changed things up a bit during the Australian leg of her record-breaking Eras Tour.

On Sunday, as with Friday and Saturday’s shows, the Anti-Hero singer, 34, performed a mash-up of several different songs for her “surprise songs” portion of the show.

As the night went on, Swift's hair became more and more wavy and Taylor was then seen with a wild and frizzy mane, presumably due to the muggy weather.

Her final show featured the first mash-up of her beloved vault song, 1989’s Is It Over Now (Taylor’s Version), and I Wish You Would, also from 1989, which she played on her acoustic guitar.

During the second mash-up, she sang Haunted, first released on her third album Speak Now, and Exile, from her Folklore album.

A fan shared a video of the mash-ups on TikTok and Swifties went wild in the comments.

Taylor has been on tour since March 2023, swapping two songs each night in her acoustic set.

Swift performed the third of her four Sydney concerts at Accor Stadium on Sunday evening, following successful performances on Friday and Saturday, and will take the stage for the final time on Monday evening.
