Jason Whitlock says botched Donald Trump assassination was Joe Biden’s ‘Hail Mary’ and the ‘missed shot cost him the presidency’ in tasteless post

According to Jason Whitlock, a conservative sports commentator, the near-assassination of former President Donald Trump was a “Hail Mary” attempt by Joe Biden to remain in the White House.

Every insane conspiracy theory about Biden or anyone in his administration being involved in the failed assassination of Trump last week has already been debunked.

Still, Whitlock decided to post on social media to stay relevant to the news of the day, namely President Biden’s decision not to run for re-election after four years in the White House.

Since leaving Fox Sports 1 in 2020, Whitlock has appealed to his conservative fan base.

However, his tasteless post about Biden on Sunday references another presidential assassination, that of John F. Kennedy in November 1963.

“Ree Tardy Oswald’s botched shot cost Biden the presidency. The Hail Mary failed,” Whitlock said on X.

The comments under Whitlock’s post are divided between those who agree with Whitlock’s incorrect statement, and those who criticize him for being insensitive and rude.

The shooter’s bullet grazed Trump’s ear, leading many to believe the Republican presidential candidate is lucky to be alive.

The disgusting insult “Ree Tardy Oswald” refers to Lee Harvey Oswald, who assassinated John F. Kennedy in Dallas.

Biden’s term as president officially ends in January, without seeking re-election. He also endorsed his Vice President, Kamala Harris, to top the new Democratic ticket.

Trump closed out the Republican Party Convention earlier this week by choosing Sen. J.D. Vance of Ohio as his running mate.
