Jason Whitlock accused Stephen A. Smith of embarrassing himself and ESPN by addressing their feud in a 59-minute, foul-mouthed attack on Wednesday.
The morning after Smith’s X-rated rant, Whitlock took to social media to voice his opinion.
“Stephen A. Smith, the self-proclaimed face of ESPN, embarrassed himself and ESPN last night,” Whitlock wrote on X. “He promises never to say my name again. No problem.’
Whitlock also doubled down on accusations of inaccuracy in Smith’s memoir “Straight Shooter,” which started this back-and-forth.
“He doesn’t have to say my name to explain the hard-to-believe stories in his ‘memoirs,’” the controversial columnist continued.

Smith called Whitlock a “b****” and “worse than a white supremacist” when he angrily discussed their differences on The Stephen A. Smith Show.
‘I hate this b*****. Much more than a little bit. He is the worst human being you will ever meet,” Smith said.
“When you come within a mile of his presence, you wrap your arms around yourself to protect your soul. He is Cain. He’s a devil, the worst.’
Smith even taunted Whitlock about his career and accused him of treason.

“You betrayed me, did you tell the people?” You b****. Did you tell them? You fat piece of shit. Did you tell them?’ he continued.
‘I’m a very forgiving person. Not with him. I don’t care how much flesh I have, I don’t care how many of you hate me, whatever former athletes they are, all this stuff… man, please. I’m sorry. Because I certainly don’t hate you.
“We may have disagreements from time to time. But it never is. This is the exception.’
Smith also revealed that he had informed his family members and ‘guys in the industry’ about the ignition attack he was planning. He even went so far as to ask his pastor for forgiveness.
He added: “All the executives at all the networks know what a piece of shit he is. And they begged me not to do this. But even my pastor said, “I’m not happy about it, but every now and then we have to do what we have to do.”
