Jason Statham joins Aubrey Plaza and Josh Hartnett in the trailer for Lionsgate’s Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre.
Statham stars as Orson Fortune, who is hired to lead a team that includes Sarah Fidel (Aubrey Plaza) and JJ Davies (Bugzy Malone) to recover deadly new weapons technology that could change the world in the wrong hands.
Finally, they recruit one of the biggest movie stars in the world: Danny Francesco (Josh Hartnett), the favorite movie star of billionaire arms dealer Greg Simmonds (Hugh Grant).
The film, which was originally scheduled to open in early 2022, will now hit theaters via Lionsgate on March 3.
Director Guy Ritchie reunites with Statham for the first time in more than two decades, after starring in the director’s first two films, Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and Snatch.

Movie Star: They finally recruit one of the biggest movie stars in the world: Danny Francesco (Josh Hartnett), the favorite movie star of billionaire arms dealer Greg Simmonds (Hugh Grant).
The trailer opens with Fortune easily entering a building, taking out several different people, while a voice is heard saying, “As a private contractor, you possess a unique set of skills.”
Fortune meets Fidel waiting in the van, though he grumbles, “You said it was clear,” and she replies, “I said the front was clear.”
‘Forward, back, right, wrong… anyway, okay?’ she says, as he walks to the vehicle.
Fortune and Fidel are told about a new job involving Greg Simmonds, while Fortune tells his boss Nathan Jasmine (Cary Elwes), “You can’t catch this fish with traditional lures,” as he suggests they use the movie star Danny Francesco.
Nathan wonders how they can get him, but JJ replies with a few hotkeys on his laptop: ‘Blackmail’.
‘Ruse de guerre’. Alright, keep going,” Nathan says before leaving them to his work.
Fortune is seen meeting Francesco on a private jet, telling him that he is his new manager, before revealing the dirt they have on him: photos of him with his sister-in-law.
“I actually love my sister-in-law,” Danny says, as Orson nods and says, “Yeah Danny, you’ve made that pretty obvious.”

Greg sees Danny at the party and starts chatting with him, as Danny says his next role is “a mysterious self-made billionaire”. Greg realizes, “You just described me.”
Greg asks Danny to “follow me, whatever I do”, as the team begins to infiltrate Greg’s life via technology.
Nathan tells the team that whoever was buying Greg, “was among you last night,” as Nathan insists, “I can get in on them.”
I hope you take them to dinner first. Before he got inside them… sexually,’ Sarah jokes.
The trailer ends with a series of quick shots, as their operation is jeopardized when Greg recognizes Orson.
“Orson Fortune, that’s a sexy name,” Greg says, as Danny drives off in a Mustang with Sarah, while Orson thinks the movie star is “going to melt.”
Sarah begins to load a gun when Danny asks, ‘What are you going to do with that?’
“I’m going to shoot them, Danny,” Sarah says as she starts shooting out the window.
The final shot shows Nathan asking Orson, ‘So no one saw you?’ but Orson confuses him by saying, ‘Yes’.
‘That is a yes? Didn’t anyone see you? Nathan asks, and Orson replies, ‘Yeah,’ while Nathan asks, ‘Or did someone see you?’
“Yeah,” Orson says as Nathan shakes his head as the trailer draws to a close.
