Aquaman himself Jason Momoa stripped down to a traditional Hawaiian Malo as he appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Wednesday.
The 54-year-old host asked the Honolulu-born, Iowa-raised 43-year-old about the string-like clothing he had worn while deep-sea fishing for aku aka skipjack tuna on Oct. 23.
“That’s a traditional Malo, it’s what the Hawaiians wear,” Jason (née Joseph) explained.

When Jimmy Momoa asked if a Malo is comfortable, he replied, ‘Oh my god, yes! I don’t really wear any clothes anymore. I’m in it every day. I wear it all the time.’
Without asking, the SAG Award nominee stood up and slowly began to take off his lavender blazer and purple silk pajamas.
