Jason Momoa seems ready for anything in the first trailer for the Netflix movie Slumberland.

The 43-year-old actor wears a ragged velvet jacket with gold fabric on his shoulders as he takes Nemo (Marlow Barkley) on an adventure in the trailer, released Friday.

The trailer opens with Nemo talking to her uncle, Phillip (Chris O’Dowd), asking her if she’s up for the first day of school.

“My father said that schools are actually prisons,” she responds.

When Phillip shoots back that school isn’t a prison, Nemo asks if she can leave whenever she wants.

“It’s a bit like a prison,” he admits.

Nemo then reveals to a fellow student that she had never attended school before, instead living with her father (Kyle Chandler) in a lighthouse before he disappeared.

Uncle Phillip shows Nemo old videos of her father from when he was a kid.

Although Nemo falls asleep, she wakes up with her stuffed pig, now alive, and kisses her on the cheek.

Her bed then grows gigantic legs and crawls its way through the busy city streets, heading for a large body of water.

The bed transports her to Slumberland, a magical world of Flip’s (Momoa) design.

Flip then says that they go on a treasure hunt to find an object that allows them to wish for whatever they want. Nemo says it’s her chance to see her father again.

The pair then run through a number of different dreamscapes, from Grand Theft Auto-esque car chases to snowcapped mountain dives.

An agent from Slumberland (Weruche Opia) locks Flip up and tells Nemo that dreams can’t last long and “sooner or later it’s time to wake up.”

Nemo refuses to give up and returns to Slumberland to find her father.
