Jason Momoa revealed this week that he’s been living a nomadic life lately.
The 44-year-old Aquaman star shared with AND that he currently does not have a full-time home, although his considerable wealth ensures that he still lives as comfortably as he wants.
Fittingly, the actor – who settled his divorce from Lisa Bonet earlier this week – has been traveling around the US in recent months while filming his reality series On The Roam for Max (formerly HBO Max), which premieres on January 18 .
“Bro, I don’t even have a house right now,” he said bluntly during the chat. “I live down the road.”
He added that he was about to travel to New Zealand to start filming the Minecraft movie, which is being directed by Napoleon Dynamite director Jared Hess.

“I’m always in these weird places,” he said of his travels for his film career. ‘You will meet me along the way. It happens all the time. They say, “What the hell are you doing in our hometown?”
“I hope everyone loves it,” Jason said.
Despite having traveled the country for a while, he says he still gets a kick out of seeing people’s shocked expressions when they see him driving through their city or making a pit stop.

The chance encounters gave Jason the opportunity to share some details of the filmmaking process with his new acquaintances.
“I like the idea of just being around regular people and doing my job, which is filming, and then showing them,” he said. “And so, I guess, because I’ve done that for so long, I’ve become curious about it.”
But Jason’s travels around the country – sometimes for film or television projects – also inspired him to learn more about the arts and crafts that other people practice far from Hollywood.
“These are the things I really want to do, and hopefully by doing that I’ll create something and pass it on to a good cause,” he said. “I’m like, ‘Wow, this feels good.’ I do what I want to do.’
He added that the upcoming season of his series On The Roam will include meetings with the artisans responsible for creating aspects of his films and TV shows. Other adventures will see him rebuild a 1920s Rolls-Royce Phantom and meet photographer Todd Hido.
“It’s very much my passion for handmade artisans,” the Game Of Thrones star continued. “The things that I really love, wanting to celebrate the people that inspire me, and then making things that are really cool for charity so that they can, you know, bring all this kind of attention to these artisans. So when people see the show, I’ll hop on Instagram and try to get started so we can auction off a lot of these cool things and spread some love.”
