Jason Kelce’s wife Kylie believes the Eagles star will be successful in what ever he does in life after the NFL – amid reports he could retire this offseason

Jason Kelce’s wife Kylie insisted the Philadelphia Eagles center will be successful in whatever he sets his mind to after finally leaving the football field.

Jason, 36, is rumored to be considering retiring from the NFL after the Eagles were eliminated in the wild-card round by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Kylie, who also discussed her husband’s shirtless antics during his brother Travis and the Chiefs’ win over the Buffalo Bills and joked that he ended up leaving Highmark Stadium with his shirt on, opened up about what the future could look like for Jason.

While she didn’t reveal whether the Super Bowl winner had made a decision about his future, Kylie insisted she would support her man whatever path he chooses.

“I think whatever he does, he will be successful,” she said Good morning America. ‘I’m not just saying that because I’m his wife. I think that’s his personality.’

While Kylie believes Jason will find success in his professional life, that belief doesn’t seem to extend to the kitchen, as she jokingly told the show that she only trusts him to make PBJ sandwiches for their three daughters.

Jason spoke exclusively to DailyMail.com following the Chiefs’ victory over the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship at M&T Bank Stadium on Sunday.

“When you’re in this atmosphere, man, it’s really hard not to want to continue doing this,” he said.

‘The game remains difficult to play – selfishly, physically. It’s a grueling sport and it has its problems playing it as you get older… (but) it’s hard. It is very difficult. I’ll be honest with you.’

Jason has tasted opportunities like this during 12 years with the Eagles. He won the Super Bowl in 2017 and faced his brother in last year’s showpiece. When asked what it’s like to experience a match of this magnitude from the stands – rather than the pitch – he said: ‘I’ve had my share on the pitches and I’ve had my share in the stands.

“And when you watch play-off football, there’s something magical about it. There’s something so surreal about it. And everyone there – in the stadium and on the field – knows this is a one-off situation.

Jason strongly considered retirement late last season, but decided to return after the Eagles’ Super Bowl loss to his brother Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs.

However, Kelce is now said to be ready to bring the curtain down on a remarkable 13-year career in the NFL after reportedly struggling to bounce back from this season’s games.

Earlier this season, Kelce admitted that it was becoming increasingly difficult to return to practice on Wednesdays (the equivalent of a Monday for an NFL player), according to the Marcus Hayes of the Philadelphia Inquirer.

‘Don’t know. I know, I mean, Wednesdays,” Kelce told Hayes when asked if this would be his last season. ‘Wednesdays are getting harder. Really, that’s all.’

He added: “You’re in trouble on Monday, you’re off on Tuesday, but Wednesday…I’m just struggling to get going again on Wednesday. Get the juice, you know?”

But the aches and pains wouldn’t be the only things wearing down the future Hall of Famer, with the report adding that Kelce also “seemed mentally fatigued.”

It appears Kelce was also concerned about the impact of CTE, the brain disease on many NFL stars post-mortem, especially veterans playing late in their careers.

He reportedly had trouble remembering the date of a teammate’s injury and joked that it was “the CTE creeping in.”

Kelce had contemplated retirement at the end of the previous season and filmed his struggle to make a decision, which later became a successful Prime documentary.

Ultimately, he decided to keep playing and signed a one-year contract with the Eagles for this season, but was set to become a free agent in March.

But this time it looks like he’s walking away for good, and Kelce seemed overcome with emotion in the final few seconds of his team’s awful 32-9 loss to the Bucs.

The Super Bowl winner, six-time All-Pro and future Hall-of-Fame winner turned and hugged offensive line coach Jeff Stoutland as the clock ticked toward zero.

Jason, the older brother of Kansas City Chiefs star Travis, then had an emotional but brief reunion with his family on the field – with his father, Ed and wife Kylie cheering him on from the front row of the stands.

He waved to them both as he left the pitch and was filmed breaking down in tears during his long and lonely walk back to the dressing room.

Kelce politely declined to speak to the media in the locker room after the game — he usually speaks whether the Eagles win or lose — and left the stadium for what appears to be the last time in his career.

It appears to be a sad end to a career in which he will go down in history as one of the game’s greats.

The center won the Super Bowl in 2018 and was famously defeated by his brother last season as the Eagles met the Chiefs in the NFL’s showpiece.

However, he seemed to have wiped away the emotional loss as he supported brother Travis in both the divisional round and AFC Championship game.

Jason went viral for his antics during the Chiefs’ win over the Buffalo Bills in the divisional round, during which he took off his shirt, jumped out of the VIP suite and drank beer.

However, he seemed to be on his best behavior Sunday at M&T Bank Stadium, when he managed to keep his shirt on as he celebrated his tight end brother’s touchdown.
