Jason Kelce’s golf swing is brutally compared to Joe Biden’s after footage emerged of him practicing at star-studded Lake Tahoe tournament
Jason Kelce is one of the participants in the American Century Championship tournament in Lake Tahoe, where his swing is being compared to that of Joe Biden.
On Wednesday, footage of the retired Philadelphia Eagles center’s session at the Edgewood Tahoe South driving range was posted on X. Fans noticed a number of similarities between Kelce’s swing and that of POTUS.
“Biden was in the race all day,” one fan noted, referring to a topic that has become a hot potato in American politics.
There was a lot of talk about golf during last month’s presidential debate, with challenger Donald Trump boasting of having won “two club championships” on courses he owns, while insisting that Biden “can’t hit a ball 50 yards.”
In response, Biden claimed he had a 6 handicap when he was Barack Obama’s vice president, which Kelce referenced in his interactions with fans on X.

“I don’t have a 6 handicap!” Kelce wrote to the fan.
“Me neither,” the fan replied.
With a handicap of 6, Biden would be in the top 10 percent of amateur golfers.
Trump didn’t believe it.
“That’s the biggest lie: that he has a 6 handicap,” said Trump, who has faced similar accusations of dishonesty on the court before.
While some, such as PGA greats Jack Nicklaus and Ernie Els, complimented his play, Trump was known as a frequent cheater at a club in Westchester, New York.
As Rick Reilly wrote in his 2019 book Commander in Cheat, “… caddies became so accustomed to him firing his ball back onto the fairway that they coined a nickname for him: ‘Pele.’

The other big news from Kelce’s foray into left field was his outfit: specifically, the tight, khaki pants he wore.
“Update from the @ACChampionship driving range,” NBC Sports Bay Area said in a report. “@JasonKelce brought khakis (sic) for Jason.”
Kelce quickly corrected the post, explaining that his wife, Kylie, was the one who purchased and packaged the pants.
“I mean, if I’m being honest, Kylie bought them last minute and wrapped them for me,” Kelce wrote.
The field of participants in Lake Tahoe also includes New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers, Basketball Hall of Famer Charles Barkley, Fox News’ Bret Baier, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, recent Stanley Cup winner Matthew Tkachuk and seven-time Cy Young winner Roger Clemens.
