Jason Kelce has yet to decide whether he will continue playing in the NFL, he said in a recent podcast interview, with the Eagles star admitting he is “exploring different options” in case he decides to hang up his football cleats.
While ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that Kelce informed his teammates that he would be retiring following Philly’s first-round playoff loss to the Eagles. Since that Jan. 15 game, there has been no official word from the center.
And during an interview with Dana Carvey and David Spade about their ‘Superfly” podcastKelce revealed that his decision is still on the line.
‘Don’t know. I’m trying to figure it out now. Right now I am exploring different options when I retire,” Kelce said.
“I’m still training and staying in shape when I play again.”

Kelce, who co-hosts the hit podcast “New Heights” with his brother Travis, reportedly met with TV executives in Las Vegas during Super Bowl week.
Front office sports said he sat down with the brass at Fox and ESPN, and began “making the rounds” with networks ahead of the Chiefs’ win over the 49ers.
Still, Kelce has been clear that he would struggle to leave football.
“When you’re in this atmosphere, man, it’s really hard not to want to continue doing this,” he told DailyMail.com exclusively after his brother Travis and the Chiefs defeated the Ravens in the AFC Championship.
He added: ‘The game remains difficult to play – selfishly, physically. It’s a grueling sport and it has its problems playing it as you get older… (but) it’s hard. It is very difficult. I’ll be honest with you.’

He echoed that sentiment in “Superfly,” saying, “All these guys, when they’re done, it’s like you’re just there, man,” as he held his arm up in the middle of the camera.
‘You rarely have these peaks. And you have to find a way to get some of that.”
The 36-year-old father of three strongly considered retirement late last season and filmed his struggle to make a decision in the hit Amazon Prime documentary “Kelce.”
He also joined Amazon Prime Video’s Thursday Night Football coverage during the Eagles’ bye week this season.
