ESPN recently welcomed a big new hire in Jason Kelce, but at least one of the network’s personalities isn’t happy to see him on television.
Kelce made his Monday Night Football debut earlier this month as part of the pre-game show and even hopped into the booth in Week 2 when his former team, the Eagles, took on the Falcons at home.
But Chris ‘Mad Dog’ Russo thinks it’s all a bit much.
“You’re going to be mad at me. I’m going to say it anyway because I feel like it,” Russo said on First Take on Wednesday.
“I think we’ve seen a lot of Jason Kelce over the last few weeks.”

Russo continued to complain about Kelce appearing alongside Troy Aikman and Joe Buck in the Monday Night Football booth — a sentiment that was at least some fans agree.
Still, his comments sparked an outcry among his ESPN colleagues, as former Colts forward Jeff Saturday called him a “hater.”
Meanwhile, Stephen A. Smith defended Kelce as “a new star for the network,” saying, “I happen to like Jason a lot.”
Kelce was in high spirits when he returned to Lincoln Financial Field, dancing on stage and even throwing beers at fans.
Some even accused him of being drunk before going on television, but in a subsequent episode of New Heights he denied it.
Travis said to his brother, “I could see it, by the way, [when] You said in the third quarter in the cabin that you had been on a roller coaster ride of ups and downs since about noon, where you were constantly drunk.
However, Jason immediately interrupted his younger brother by saying that he had had “zero beers” and then laughed about the fact that he threw cans at fans during the pre-game festivities.
He added that despite throwing away about 100 beers, he hadn’t drunk a single one.
“Do you know how hard that was?” he asked, adding, “I’m a professional, Travis. I don’t do bullshit.”
Jason and the rest of his Monday Night Football Crew are in Miami this week as the Dolphins take on the Titans.
