Jason Kelce believes the reason the Kansas City Chiefs can’t stop winning isn’t the coaching, or their star players… but instead Taylor Swift.
The pop icon and girlfriend of the team’s girlfriend, Travis Kelce, regularly attends games – and Jason believes she has more influence on the results than many think.
On the latest episode of the brothers’ New Heights podcast, the pair had a discussion about why the Chiefs have an 11-1 record this season, which started off seriously and then moved into bizarre territory.
Finally, Jason arrived at his reasoning, referencing the 1994 film “Angels In The Outfield,” in which a baseball team continues to win thanks to a series of seemingly bizarre events that are actually orchestrated by — you guessed it — a group of angels in the outfield.
At New Heights, he said, “You guys are the angels in the outfield… there’s something unknown…” before Travis stepped in to respond, “Please, with this Tay voodoo s***. This guy is such a advertising headline!’
The idea of ”Tay-voodoo” isn’t new and has been discussed online by Swifties for months, and Travis mentioning it on the podcast is – perhaps understandably – driving Taylor’s fans wild.

“Like it was obvious to me that tayvoodoo and tayblessings were known to a lot of people,” one person wrote, “but I take this as actual confirmation that Tay sees all our jokes.”
Another added: “Of course Jason Kelce believes in tayvoodoo. Travis joins ITS REAL.”
Before the conversation turned to angels and voodoo, Jason had previously expressed his honest thoughts on the Chiefs’ season following their improbable win over the Raiders on Black Friday.
“One of the main reasons why you only lost one match is that you are just very smart in the critical moments,” he told brother Travis.
‘Why can you close these matches? Do you have an explanation for everyone who asks the same questions on every sports show? We’re just repeating the fact that you guys are finding a way to win… is there more to it?

Travis then replied, “You can call it luck, you can call it fortune, you can call it guys just doing their best until the last second is over.
“We know a lot of strange things happen in this league. I think both sides of the ball are doing a great job, the coaches are doing a great job making sure the players know how crazy things happen in this league.
“We’ve seen a lot of the weirdest things happen, I think it’s just a coincidence that we’ve seen a lot of these things happen just for ourselves this year. Normally, just on the offensive side, we watch every college football game every week, the NFL every two minutes, and we get caught up in what’s possible.
“When you understand the possibilities, and you start to get more comfortable with, ‘Man, anything can really happen if we keep playing hard until the end of the game, no matter what happened.’ If there’s still a chance on that board, keep playing, man.”
