Jason Kelce is done playing in the NFL, but he still has to keep moving, as his wife Kylie tells him.
The former Eagles star announced his retirement after last season and now has a lot more time on his hands now that his 13-year career as a professional footballer is behind him.
But while he no longer mans Philly’s offensive line, he does follow a training regimen of sorts, based on rules set by his wife Kylie.
Kelce explained on Green light with Chris Long that he ‘has to exercise at least three days a week, otherwise she doesn’t want anything to do with me.’
“…When I work out, I’m in a good mood, and I get along well with my kids and everyone at home. I’m just a better person,” he explains.

Jason and Kylie have been married since 2018 and have three children: four-year-old Wyatt, three-year-old Elliotte and one-year-old Bennett.
Long, who hosts the Yote House Media show, shared the same sentiment as his former Eagles teammate.
‘…I feel like I’m partly the reason why guys have a hard time after [retirement] “It’s not just that we miss football, but we’re also used to a certain amount of physical activity for our dopamine,” he began.
‘…And if it doesn’t work out, I’m a tough party for me.’
Kelce, who played most of his career in the 295-pound class, also spoke candidly about the weight loss he’s gone through since retiring.
“[I weighed] 276 this morning. It was big because I was stuck at 280 for [the last like three months]’, he said.

Kelce has previously stated GQ that he hoped to weigh 250 to 260 pounds by the time he retired, but that there was a limit to how much weight he was willing to lose.
“I don’t want to get too small,” he said. “I think a lot of guys, especially offensive linemen, lose too much weight and then they look like bobbleheads because their necks get so small, but their heads stay the same size.”
In addition to his Kylie-mandated workout routine, he’ll also be busy with ESPN’s Monday Night Football broadcast each week.
His first assignment is the Jets’ trip to the 49ers on September 9.
