After 15-time Grammy Award-winning rapper Eminem attended the Detroit Lions playoff win over the Rams last weekend, Travis and Jason Kelce looked back on their memories of his music.

Most notably, Travis admitted that ‘The Eminem Show’ was the first CD he ever bought. Jason Kelce asked his younger brother if he remembered the fate of his 2002 rap album.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end couldn’t remember.

“Do you know what happened to that CD, though?” Jason said. “Dad got in the car after you bought that CD, took it out and threw it out the window.”

“It’s one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen happen,” Jason continued, laughing hysterically with his brother. “…I remember it like it was yesterday.”

Ed Kelce threw his son’s CD out of the window of his car more than twenty years ago because of rude lyrics

Talking openly about a woman’s menstrual cycle and former US Vice President Dick Cheney’s health problems in back-to-back texts may not be what Ed Kelce wanted his teenage sons to hear.

Like many teenagers at the turn of the millennium, “The Eminem Show” was a must-buy CD and is now the best-selling hip-hop album of all time.

Songs like ‘Without Me’ and ‘Sing for the Moment’ became cult classics, while some parents felt that the content of Eminem’s music was not suitable for children of a certain age.

Ed Kelce wasn’t on this week’s episode of “New Heights” to talk about throwing the CD out the window, but based on his son’s reactions, they find the drastic move funny more than 20 years later.

Jason Kelce has not revealed his future plans in football following Monday’s Eagles playoff exit

It is unknown if Eminem will attend Sunday’s Lions’ Divisional game against the Buccaneers.

The Kelce brothers are both subject to speculation about their lives. Jason has refuted media reports that he told Philadelphia Eagles teammates he was retiring on Monday.

Travis Kelce’s spotlight is mainly due to dating Taylor Swift, with her presence at the Chiefs’ game against the Bills also still up in the air.
