Jason Kelce described an invitation to appear on one of his favorite TV shows and compete against brother Travis as a “dream come true.”

The legendary Philadelphia Eagles center, who announced his retirement Monday after 13 years in the NFL, could turn his attention to blacksmithing after hanging up his cleats.

After revealing his desire to appear on the History Channel’s program, “Forged in Fire,” the 36-year-old received an invitation from one of the show’s judges to come and learn the craft.

Edged weapons combat specialist Doug Marcaida extended the offer for Jason to compete in the forge against his Kansas City Chiefs star brother Travis in a video message shared on social media.

“Congratulations on a historic NFL career and a well-deserved retirement,” Marcaida began after throwing a knife at a tree trunk.

The legendary Philadelphia Eagles center insisted the invite was the “coolest thing ever.”

“Now we’ve heard that maybe you have what it takes to make it fail. Well, if you and Travis ever want to duke it out off the field, come to our forge, where maybe we can teach you to be a master blacksmith and see if it will simmer.”

“You guys are great, big fans,” he added.

In ‘Forged in Fire’, world-class swordsmiths compete to create some of the most iconic weapons in history.

‘It will keal’ is Marcaida’s catchphrase in the show, with keal being an acronym for ‘keal everyone alive’.

An irritable Jason eagerly responded on X, formerly known as Twitter, claiming it was a dream.

“This is the coolest thing ever, it would literally be a dream come true, Doug,” he wrote, quoting Marcaida’s video. ‘Even if it doesn’t tip over! But I certainly want it too.’

In the Wednesday episode of the New heights podcast, Jason told his brother Travis about his post-retirement plans.

In addition to getting in shape, Jason insisted he take more time from housework to help his wife Kylie.

“I’m looking forward to doing something that isn’t football,” Jason said. “I’ve been so dedicated to the sport for so long that it’s embarrassing when your wife knows how to do more housework. Her father is an electrician, she can fish a wire.’

Travis went on to question Jason’s inability to fish on a wire, claiming he completed the task while fixing his speakers.

‘I’m talking about walls; she could put in a new outlet if she wanted to,” Jason said.

“Shout out to Ky for being the handyman around the hose,” Travis replied.

“I love the TV show Forged in Fire,” Jason continued. ‘I want to go to a blacksmith and make a knife, that would be fun.

‘You can count on that, don’t do that without me. I’m going to make a sword,” Travis suggested.

“A sword is a whole different undertaking, I don’t know if we’re good enough to make a sword,” Jason finished.
