Jason Kelce gushes over ‘insanely impressive’ Taylor Swift – and reveals which moment made him CRY at his Eras Tour debut in London

Jason Kelce was moved to tears last weekend after his first Taylor Swift concert.

The retired NFL player and his wife, Kylie Kelce, joined his younger brother Travis during the London stop of his girlfriend’s record-breaking Eras Tour.

The former Eagles center said he finally ‘made it to the Eras Tour and watched Tay absolutely shred’ at Wembley Stadium, on Wednesday’s episode of the New Heights podcast.

“Dude, it was awesome,” Jason kicked off the segment, which was taped Saturday after he and Kylie attended their first show.

“It was so cool,” Travis said. ‘Playing in front of 90,000 spectators at Wembley Stadium.’

Jason emphasized, “It was crazy impressive. Obviously Taylor is a great singer-songwriter, but to be able to go out there and perform at that level for three and a half hours.”

Travis told his brother that the Love Story hitmaker performed a whopping 45 songs during the set.

“If I did what she did for one song, I’d have to change clothes,” Jason joked.

“I’m in the tent of ‘Gosh, I need a break,'” Travis added, as his older brother echoed the sentiment, “Man, I’m tired of drinking these beers and Taylor still singing, she is amazing.’

The Eagles legend continued, “I can’t feel my hand anymore because all these friendship bracelets are cutting off my circulation.”

Elsewhere in the episode, Jason revealed which moment from the show brought him to tears.

‘The 22 hat? Dude, I’ve never cried at a concert before and I literally had tears in my eyes seeing this little girl… I’m about to burst into tears right now. It was so damn special,” he said, referring to the moment during each concert when Swift hands a fedora to an audience member as she performs her hit 22.

“She got into it, man. It was amazing,” Travis added. “She does it every show. And with the acoustic set, she makes every show unique.”

Jason told listeners that the acoustic part of the show, in which she plays two surprising songs from her extensive repertoire, was his ‘favourite’ part.

‘She mixes from one song to the next… To be good in front of 9,000 people, I think you have to be great. And you have to have great songs and great lyrics, which she clearly wrote and created. And then two, being able to execute it seamlessly on the spot, with nothing else to hide it, that was the highlight of the evening for me,” said the father of three.

“It feels like you’re sitting in a bar listening to someone play a piano,” he added.

The day after recording their podcast, Travis surprised his fans with the ultimate surprise by joining his girlfriend on stage at her third Wembley show.

He wore a top hat and tailcoat while performing with two of her backup dancers during an interlude between songs.
