Jason Kelce appears to mock Chiefs star Harrison Butker with comical comment about washing his feet

Jason Kelce appeared to mock Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker on Saturday as he railed about the “diabolical lies” being told to society about hygiene.

On May 11, Butker delivered a highly controversial opening speech, in which he claimed that “diabolical lies” had been told to women – whom he urged to embrace a life as a housewife.

And when discussing a much lighter topic – washing feet – Kelce used Butker’s words to prove his point.

“Y’all have been fed the devilish lies that constantly washing every crevice of your body and hair is somehow better or healthier,” Kelce wrote on X, arguing whether your feet should be washed.

‘Any dermatologist who isn’t in bed with Big Soap will agree!! Hot spots are all it takes and actually lead to cleaner, healthier skin.”

The legendary Eagles center made the claim after a fan wrote, “Jason Kelce looks like he doesn’t wash his legs or feet.”

Then he replied: ‘What kind of fool washes their feet…’

Previously, while on his ‘New Heights’ podcast with his brother Travis, Jason defended Butker’s right to make these comments – while noting that he disagreed with Butker’s views.

“He talks about family,” Kelce told New Heights. “I don’t think there are enough people talking about the foundation of the family and the seriousness of parenthood.

‘If you want to be a parent, I think this should be the most important thing in your life. If your children are not the most important thing in you and your wife’s lives, you are failing in my opinion.

‘I don’t think women are the main problem here either. I think there is a much bigger problem with a different gender when it comes to raising children.

‘We have played our entire career with people that we don’t always fit in with. I don’t know that I’ve played with one teammate where he and I agree with everything each of us thinks. And that’s the beauty! You find a way to work together.”

Travis Kelce struck a similar note.

“When it comes to his views and what he said during St Benedict’s speech, those are his. I can’t say I agree with most or most of it, except that he just loves his family and his kids.

“And I don’t think I should judge him on his views, especially his religious views, on how to live life, that’s just not who I am.”

Butker drew much scorn from the sporting world and beyond in his speech at Benedictine College, where he also claimed that men “set the tone of the culture.”

In particular, he said, “I think it is you, the women, who have been told the most devilish lies. Some of you may have successful careers in the world, but I would hazard a guess that the majority of you are most excited about your marriage and the children you will bring into this world.

“I can tell you that my beautiful wife Isabelle would be the first to say that her life truly began when she began living her calling as a wife and as a mother. I stand on this stage today and can be the man I am because I have a wife who focuses on her calling.

“I have been beyond blessed with the many talents God has given me, but it cannot be overstated that all of my success has been made possible because a girl I met in band class in high school would convert to the faith , would become my wife and embrace one of the most important titles of all: housewife,” Butker concluded.

He also slammed “delusional” President Joe Biden before visiting the White House this week.
