Jason Kelce and Lane Johnson make surprise appearance at WrestleMania at Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field – home of the Eagles – as they help Rey Mysterio and Andrade to victory
Jason Kelce and his former Eagles teammate Lane Johnson made a surprise appearance at WrestleMania 40 at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia on Saturday – and gave fans an absolute show as they helped Rey Mysterio and Andrade win.
Kelce, an Eagles legend who announced his retirement from the NFL last month, donned an Eagles mask with Johnson when the pair ambushed Dom Mysterio and stopped him from using a chair against his father, Rey.
From there, Rey landed a double 619 on Dom and his partner Santos Escobar before the frog splash on Escobar to secure the win.
Kelce and Johnson then celebrated the win in the ring with Rey and Andrade before taking off their Eagles masks.
The Philly couple then stood on the ropes and basked in the hometown crowd’s welcome.

The New Heights X account, the podcast Kelce co-hosts with his brother Travis, reshared a clip from the sequence originally posted by WWE.
“NAME A BETTER TAG TEAM, I’LL WAIT,” the account captioned the video.
Afterwards, Jason was pictured backstage with wrestling great The Rock.
Saturday marked only the second time WrestleMania has been held in Philly, with the last time being in 1999 at the First Union Center (now known as the Wells Fargo Center).
This time it was held at Lincoln Financial Field, home of the Eagles, where Kelce played for thirteen seasons.
Next week, Jason and Travis will host a live version of New Heights from Nipper Stadium in Cincinnati.

And the brothers have announced a special guest: Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow.
The Kelce brothers hope to break the all-time attendance record for a live audience to witness a podcast recording, which was set at just under 21,000 by Canadian comedian Mike Ward in July 2022.
Nipper Stadium has a capacity of 38,088 people, but can likely seat more if necessary due to the lawn seating for a live podcast.
‘New Heights’ is Jason and Travis’ weekly podcast that has generated millions of listens around the world – with the help of Travis’ relationship with pop star Taylor Swift.
