Jason Donovan surprises as he makes his debut in NEW Hollyoaks Opening Titles

Hollyoaks revealed a sneak peek at its new opening titles ahead of its E4 debut at 7pm on Friday.

The new sequence establishes a host of characters within the town, including Jason Donovan’s 22-year-old daughter Jemma, who plays Rayne Royce.

Newly arrived Chester residents can be seen having fun in a retro photo booth before posing at the village bus stop.

Joining the character of Jemma are Lacey Lloyd (Annabelle Davis), Shing Lin Leong (Izzie Yip), Beau Ramsay (Jon-Paul Bell) and Zain Rizwaan (Jonas Khan).

Jemma looked sensational in a burgundy leather dress that plunged in and hugged every inch of her slender frame.

Accentuating her beautiful features with makeup, she combed her loose blonde hair and let it fall to her shoulders.

The new footage also shows Hunter McQueen (Theo Graham) making his return to the show, as well as Norma Crow (Glynis Barber) opening for the first time.

Speaking about joining the show last October, Jemma said: ‘I’m delighted to be joining the cast of Hollyoaks!’

“I am so grateful for this opportunity to bring something unique and fun to a new role and I can’t wait to be a part of the Hollyoaks family.”

Party girl stunner and influencer Rayne joined the show after her three-year stint as Harlow Robinson on the Australian soap opera Neighbors.

It comes after actor Warwick Davis paid tribute to his daughter Annabelle after she made her Hollyoaks debut.

The actress, who was born with congenital spondyloepiphyseal dysplasia (SED), a rare genetic form of dwarfism, made her first appearance on the Channel 4 soap opera earlier this month.

Showing her support, Warwick, 52, wrote on Twitter: ‘Shout out to my daughter, @AnnabelleLDavis, making her UK soap opera debut, @Hollyoaks tonight. I’ve never seen the show, but I’ll watch it tonight!

She is believed to be the first Hollyoaks actress with dwarfism.

Lacey and her new friend Rayne will move into a shared house with Romeo (Owen Warner), Prince (Malique Thompson Dwyer) and Nadira (Ashling O’Shea).

Say cheese! The opening titles looked like fun, and they all said cheese for the camera.

Hurry up! They all chased each other during filming.

Lacey is fiercely loyal and a great friend who brings calm and common sense, while best friend Rayne brings chaos.

Driven, outspoken and funny, Lacey is a budding paralegal interviewing for a position at Dee Valley Law, but manages to keep her cool when under James’s scrutiny.

Speaking about joining the Channel 4 soap, Annabelle, 25, said: ‘I’m so excited for you to meet Lacey! She’s fun, career driven her, she’s preparing to be a lawyer and now she’s looking for a job. Fingers crossed that she…

“I’ve had a great time filming with the Hollyoaks gang and I’m also looking forward to what Lacey does.”

Hollyoaks airs every weekday at 7pm on E4 and 6:30pm on Channel 4
