Club Zero is an internationally co-produced drama thriller film directed and produced by Jessica Hausner from a screenplay by Hausner and Géraldine Bajard.
With Mia Wasikowska, Mathieu Demy, Elsa Zylberstein, Amir El-Masry and Sidse Babett Knudsen.
This daring drama follows the story of Miss Novak, a teacher who disrupts eating habits at a private high school.
Wasikowska plays the role of the charismatic teacher who joins the prestigious school and introduces a new subject to students that she calls “mindful eating.”
Under her guidance, the teenage students begin to challenge social norms by reducing their food consumption, until things begin to take a dangerous turn.

It is the sixth feature film by Austrian director Hausner and the successor to Little Joe, the 2019 Cannes Competition title, which won the Best Actress award for actress Emily Beecham.
Her previous films Lovely Rita (2001), Hotel (2004) and Amour Fou (2014) all premiered at Cannes in Un Certain Regard and her 2009 film Lourdes premiered in Venice that year.
The film’s official synopsis reads: ‘Miss Novak joins the staff of an international boarding school to teach about mindful eating.
‘She indicates that eating less is healthy.
“The other teachers are slow to notice what’s happening, and by the time the absent-minded parents start to realize it, Club Zero has become a reality.”
Meanwhile, Jasmine’s appearance comes after recently welcoming her baby daughter.

“Mia Victoria 2•23•23,” the cover girl wrote in her caption. On Insta Stories, she added, “We are so in love with her and so excited about this next chapter in our lives.”
The viewer also shared an image of her holding the child’s tiny hand along with her husband’s hand; Tookes provided a fresh manicure.
The star is married to 32-year-old Juan David Borrero, the son of Ecuadorian Vice President Alfredo Borrero.
