Jarome Luai calls NSW idiots in shocking Instagram post after State of Origin loss

Jarome Luai insults irate NSW fans by calling them ‘idiots’ in arrogant Instagram post after he and the Blues were blown off the park in State of Origin shocker

  • Luai made an incendiary post shortly after losing 32-6
  • Five-eighth struggled to impress in the game
  • He and teammates have been devastated by fans

Blues star Jarome Luai has responded to criticism over his team’s loss in Origin game two by posting an offensive message to angry fans on Instagram.

The five-eighth wrote “Chill, All you idiots have work tomorrow morning” accompanied by several emojis of tears of joy with rapper Tupac Shakur’s song “Me Against The World” in the background.

Luai and his teammates have been roasted by fans and pundits after losing the series in a shock 32-6 capitulation against the Maroons on Wednesday night in which they were never in the game.

The NSW five-eighth already ignited blues fans with its post, which was set to rapper Tupac Shakur’s song “Me Against The World.”

The Penrith star was sent off for headbutting Reece Walsh late in the game and blew kisses to the crowd as he walked off. He struggled to make any impression as the Blues put up one of the state’s worst performances.

Fans slammed Luai for his Instagram post as they lashed out after the one-sided defeat.

“Shouldn’t be allowed to represent NSW again after that,” one wrote.

“Every time I get the urge to say ‘they are hard on him’ he does this sort of thing,” added another.

NSW doesn’t understand Origin. That’s all the evidence you need,” a third wrote.

Blues diehards also slammed Luai in the comments section of an Instagram post he posted before the game, calling him to account for his efforts in the loss.

“Daly Cherry Evans owns you,” one wrote, referring to the Queensland skipper and halfback.

“Twenty five minutes later and you’ve already missed all your 5 tackles,” a second fan added, while several others told Luai “Walsh owns you” or “Walsh is your father” in references to the Queensland fullback with whom he exchanged headbutts.
