The artist had his eyebrows bleached and the ends of his dark brown hair dyed pink.

His blue eyes looked extra piercing because of the black eye shadow on his upper and lower eyelids.

Leto’s performance took place just two weeks after the release of 30 Seconds To Mars’ sixth album, It’s the End of the World but It’s a Beautiful Day.

The singer worked on the album with his brother and bandmate Shannon, as well as several producers.

The record marks the first time the siblings have recorded without their longtime guitarist, Tomo Milicevic, who left the group in 2018.

It’s the End of the World, But It’s a Beautiful Day and received mixed to positive reviews from critics upon release.

Leto spoke about working on the record during a conversation with Sharp magazinewhere he stated that many of the early listeners were confused by his musical development.

“People have asked me… when I played some of these songs for them, they said, ‘Is that you?’ “I take that as a compliment, that somehow I’m still discovering new parts of myself,” he said.

The artist went on to discuss how the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic affected the tonality of the record.

‘When we started, we had a lot of dark songs, which reflected the isolation of that period. But I am an optimistic person,” he said.

Leto also stated that he wanted to creatively express a more positive outlook on life with It’s the End of the World but It’s a Beautiful Day.

“In our music we explored a lot of the darker sides of life – and we still have those elements on this album – but it’s nice to explore, you know, a beautiful summer day,” he said.
