Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump were enjoying some fun in the New Jersey sun this week as Category 4 Hurricane Ian threatened to hit Florida’s west coast.
The couple spent Tuesday afternoon on the beach with their three children in Long Branch, where they had celebrated Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, days earlier at the nearby Kushner Family estate.
Exclusive DailyMail.com photos show the loving parents having wholesome family fun on the sand with daughter Arabella, 11, and sons Joseph, 9 and Theo, 6.
The happy family took turns playing a Velcro ball and throwing a soccer ball on the beach. Jared, 41, who is undergoing treatment for thyroid cancer, seemed healthy and cheerful, at one point racing his two young boys on the sand.

It’s unclear if the family chose to take the New Jersey vacation to escape the Florida Category 4 hurricane or if they just managed to get out of Dodge by chance.
The former White House advisers dressed comfortably and casually for the crisp fall weather, opted for light knits and athleisure, and took off their shoes as they frolicked under the sun.
Jared’s parents, Charles and Seryl Kushner, were also seen enjoying the balmy afternoon from their home’s ocean-view balcony on Tuesday.
The Kushners, who are now based in Miami, Florida after leaving Washington DC at the end of President Donald Trump’s term, are staying at the family’s beachfront town estate — about an hour outside of New York, for the holiday.
Earlier that morning, Ivanka, 40, who converted to Judaism before marrying Jared in 2009, was seen going to Temple alone with a security guard.
Her brother-in-law Joshua Kushner, who is also in town for the holidays, was seen walking back from Temple with his son Levi.

It’s unclear whether the family chose to travel to New Jersey to escape the catastrophic storm or whether they were able to dodge the storm while visiting relatives for the religious holiday.
The political power couple was seen Monday at the Kushner Family estate in Long Branch, New Jersey, after going to Temple with their children earlier that day.
Jared’s brother Joshua and his supermodel wife Karlie Kloss attended the Jewish New Year celebrations. The brothers chatted for a while before parting as Karlie drank coffee and grabbed Joshua’s arm.

Jared and Ivanka, who grew up in North Jersey and New York respectively, moved to Florida after leaving their 8,200-square-foot home in the affluent Kalorama neighborhood of Washington, DC.
They currently live in a flat in the artea luxury high-rise complex, in Miami, while their mansion is being built on the exclusive island community of Indian Creek.
The family has been out in Miami lately and doesn’t seem to have eased the stress of the death of Ivanka’s mother, Ivana, earlier this summer, Donald Trump’s legal troubles and Jared’s battle with cancer.
Jared’s second surgery for thyroid cancer has been deemed a success as the rollout of his White House memoir continues.
Earlier that morning, Ivanka, 40, who converted to Judaism before marrying Jared in 2009, was seen going to the temple alone with a guard.
Ivanka has been to New Jersey to celebrate Rosh Hashanah or Jewish New Year – September 25-27 – with her family and in-laws
Ivanka’s brother-in-law Joshua Kushner, who is also in town for the Christmas celebrations, was walked back from Temple on Tuesday with his son Levi.
In a September interview with The National Desk, Jared confirmed his surgery by saying, “I had surgery last week. It was very successful.’
He also celebrates his White House memoir becoming a No. 1 New York Times bestseller.
Ivanka took the time to post how proud she was of her husband’s achievement and posted on Instagram “It’s an incredible book.”
Their faith is clearly important to them, as they are spotted on their way to their local synagogue in Miami. The family now observes the Sabbath and is kosher.
