January Jones tells casting directors ‘come back into the office like everyone else’

January Jones is sick of self-recorded auditions for casting directors.

The 45-year-old Mad Men alum went on a tirade on her Instagram Stories on Saturday, saying: “Note to Hollywood: It’s time for casting directors to go back to the office like everyone else.” To audition actors in person.

Since the pandemic, it has become customary for actors to record their auditions and send them to casting directors instead of auditioning in person.

He continued: ‘And if someone asks for a FEE to audition, know that this is criminal and PATHETIC. Personally, I have had to record myself multiple times since the pandemic began and there is no benefit to anyone involved.

The star added that it’s time consuming, expensive, and “dragging whoever you have to drag around to read with you (sorry mom), and often done without instructions/notes,” the mother-of-one added.

The model is the mother of Xander, 12 years old. She has never publicly revealed who the father of her child is.

Several years ago, the actress revealed that she loves being a single mom and doesn’t feel like she “needs” a partner.

In 2017, she told Red: ‘I just don’t feel like I need a partner. I want one? Maybe. But I don’t feel unhappy or alone. It would have to be someone so amazing that I would like to make room.’

“After I had Xander, I went on a couple of dates and thought, ‘I’d rather be home sleeping, watching TV, or hanging out with my son,'” she continued.

January gave birth to Xander on September 13, 2011, and many fans at the time questioned who the father of their child was.

There were rumors at the time linking January to Matthew Vaughn, who directed her in X-Men: First Class, though this was strongly denied.
