Janice Dickinson has spoken of being forced to quit I’m A Celebrity South Africa after a horror fall that left her ‘entire chin ripped open’.
The former model, 68, insisted she could have won the series when she talked about her experience of what it was like to be back in the jungle.
She revealed that she was “sad” that her experience in the jungle had come to an end after she tripped in the middle of the night and fell on her face while trying to find the toilet.
In her exit interview, Janice supported herself for insisting she could have been crowned the first ever All Stars ‘Legend’.
She said, “I could have been the one to come in second or even win this series because I was just so firm and physiological about it.

“I was just waiting and bidding my time with all this. I did my part in rising and falling. Getting my face in the dirt.”
She also revealed that she initially felt the production could have cleaned her wounds and sent her back into the jungle, but agreed that they made the right decision in sending her home.
“I felt like they could have possibly cleaned my wounds and put me back on my path in there. But the production ultimately made the right decision not to send me back, he said.
She continued, “I’m just sad it ended like this. I think I could have gone back in and moved on.’
Janice was also questioned about her thoughts on the whole experience, revealing that she had an “epiphany” after completing a food trial.
She said, “My experience in the camp overall was a transformation. I feel like an epiphany came over me after eating that food sample. That I could do it for other people instead of doing it for myself.’
She continued, “I didn’t do it for the sake of ‘Janice wins a lawsuit’, it was really to put food on the table for the other camp mates.” That’s why I finally got to see the glory of these trials.”
Janice also shared how “glorious” it was to see Ant McPartlin, 47, and Declan Donnelly, 47, again, revealing that she had “a big crush on them.”
“It was lovely to see Ant and Dec again. I have a fondness for them that my husband is not supposed to know about. I was madly in love with them,” she confessed.

During her time in the jungle, Janice immediately bonded with her campmates, especially Jordan Banjo after the terrifying epic food trial she had to endure.
And when asked which camp members she was closest to, Janice answered with Jordan, 30, Gillian McKeith, 63, and Myleene Klass, 45.
She said, “First it was Jordan during the eating trial. I had never met Jordan before and I had never heard of his group. I’m not that familiar with the British subculture and he’s really part of that with Diversity.’
“It’s great, in America we don’t have anything like that. I wish he would make his tour to America. So first Jordan, then I think I bonded with Gillian because she kept coming to my bed [bed] and told me she loved me.’
She also revealed that she let her guard down when she talked about Gillian and making friends at the camp.
“After a while, you just have to let your guard down. She was very sweet. I found her very compelling, even when she revealed she had been sneaking all this contraband into her granny panties,” she explained.
‘I mean, can you imagine? She was wearing three separate granny panties that failed the checks we went through to get in. She’s a very smart and resourceful woman!’
She also touched on her bond with Myleene, saying, “I bonded with Myleene. Every day she was like my daughter, she said, ‘Come on Jan, let me fix your hair’. Without pretense.’

“I met the real Myleene Klass, a comfortable, wonderful, down-to-earth woman. I got to know the pure Myleene who is kind, very generous and very generous.”
During the exit interview, Janice also shared how she felt as she had to complete the epic eating trial.
“It was the most vile, disgusting, horrific, I repeat horrific thing. Having to chew on fish eyeballs and lamb testicles. Having to put a lamb testicle in my mouth and chew it, which took about five minutes, then swallow. It tasted awful.’
Janice was forced to leave the ITV show early after suffering a horror injury.
Janice opened up about the terrifying ordeal that took her to the hospital after the accident that will not be televised.
Viewers will also get to see the campmates being told about Janice’s departure during Monday’s episode.
She told The Sun’s TV Mag: ‘I felt very insecure because the campfire was out and it was as dark as it gets. So I thought, okay, I’ll get the dunny out of my head.”
“I took a few steps and stumbled, flying flat on my face — hair over my forehead, my nose covered in blood and my entire chin cut open.
“Blood was gushing from all these areas and there was dirt and stones in my face from the fall.”
She added: “All I felt was an intense headache – from one to ten it was about a nine – and I just lay there moaning. It was a freak accident that happened so quickly.’
Fortunately, Janice was found by Fatima Whitbread and Phil Tuffnell, who quickly picked her up off the floor and helped her back to the campsite.

The American star, who was “moaning and crying” in pain, was then helped to her bed before a medic entered the camp to assess her.
Janice remembered being taken to the medical hut where she was cleaned and given pain relief.
She was then taken by ambulance, in which she received a compress for her head and chin, to a ‘tiny hospital in the middle of nowhere’, while her husband Robert Gerner – who was already in South Africa – was called.
In the interview, Janice talked about how she was in “pain” when medics cleaned her wounds and gave her a morphine shot to ease her pain.
