Jane Fonda re-wears her favorite purple power suit to pre-tape The View in NY with Book Club costars

Jane Fonda Wears Her Favorite Purple Power Suit Again to Shoot The View in NYC With Her Book Club 2 Castmates

Hours after attending the premiere of her new movie Book Club: The Next Chapter, two-time Oscar winner Jane Fonda got up early Tuesday morning to shoot an episode of The View at ABC Studios in Midtown Manhattan.

The 85-year-old Hollywood legend — who relies on stylist Cristina Ehrlich — once again wore the exact same purple Max Mara pantsuit she donned for the premiere of 80 for Brady at the Regency Village Theater in Los Angeles on Jan. 31.

But instead of silver Sarah Flint heels, Jane — whose glamor was provided by hairstylist Jonathan Hanousek and makeup artist David De Leon — paired her power suit with sensible flat black loafers and a matching purse.

Fonda was joined by her castmate – Oscar winner Diane Keaton – who showed off her goofy yet conservative sense of style in a black bowler hat and a chic black and white plaid jacket over a black turtleneck and slacks.

The eccentric 77-year-old – who styles herself – made several faces as she arrived at ABC Studios wearing glasses and black high-heeled boots with her hat and coat in hand.

Peace! Hours after attending the premiere of her new movie Book Club: The Next Chapter, two-time Oscar winner Jane Fonda got up early Tuesday morning to shoot an episode of The View at ABC Studios in Midtown Manhattan.

So cute she wore it twice! The 85-year-old Hollywood legend – who relies on stylist Cristina Ehrlich – once again wore the exact same purple Max Mara pantsuit she donned for the premiere of 80 for Brady at LA’s Regency Village Theater on Jan. 31 (pictured)

Diane and the fitness mogul also joined their co-star – Oscar winner Mary Steenburgen – in a pink patterned maxi dress and white boots selected by stylist Amanda Lim.

Hairstylist David Stanwell coiffed the 70-year-old wife of Ted Danson’s dark brown locks and makeup artist Natasha Smee brought out her brown eyes with false lashes and pink blush.

Missing from the squad was the ladies’ castmate — Oscar nominee Candice Bergen — who accompanied them Monday to the AMC Lincoln Square Theater for the premiere of Book Club: The Next Chapter.

In the Italian comedy sequel – which hits US and UK theaters Friday – Jane becomes the bride-to-be as her character, hotel mogul Vivian, prepares to marry retired music promoter, Arthur (Don Johnson).

And Diane, Candice and Mary reprized their respective roles as Diane, Sharon and Carol in Bill Holderman’s Book Club: The Next Chapter, which currently has a dismal 63% approval rating on Rotten tomatoes.
