Jana Kramer and Allan Russell are married! The couple wed during an intimate ceremony at Scotland Estate

Jana Kramer and former footballer Allan Russell married on Saturday in an intimate wedding in his native country.

The couple exchanged vows in front of 35 wedding guests at Carnell Estate in Scotland, according to People.

“We had talked about just going away and doing it ourselves, but it was important to me to celebrate the wedding for Jolie and Jace so they could see that we’re married now,” she told the outlet of their decision to celebrate in a traditional way.

She continued, “I’ve also never been so excited to walk up to someone, and it didn’t have to be this big thing. It’s going to be really small and intimate and everything we wanted.”

Before the ceremony, the podcast host told the publication that she only wanted to marry her closest friends and family.

“That’s the only thing that really matters to us and our family,” she stressed.

Russell agreed, also noting that Kramer has “a huge amount of respect for” his “Scottish heritage.”

The 40-year-old former One Tree Hill student has two eldest children with her ex-husband Mike Caussin and an eight-month-old child named Roman with Russell.

Kramer and Russell met after he sent her a private message on Instagram. He was living in England at the time.

‘He was really sweet and nice in his message, and we started talking on WhatsApp. And then I Googled him and I was like, “Oh, he’s really cute. I thought, maybe if he’s ever in the US, I’ll go on a date with him.”‘

After they finally met in Nashville around Christmas in 2022, she said it was “game over” and just six months later they got engaged.

And in June 2023, the lovebirds announced that they were expecting their first child together.

Last November, she confirmed Roman’s birth on Instagram by sharing a photo of herself and him in the hospital.

She later told People, “Allan and I are both overjoyed and grateful to announce the birth of our son, Roman James Russell.”

“We feel blessed to have been given the opportunity to create something so special together.”

They then revealed the reason why they decided to name their firstborn Roman.

“The name Roman wasn’t really inspired by anyone, it’s just a strong name that we both love, but James (his middle name) was both our grandfathers’ names, so that was a nod to them,” they told the outlet.

She was previously married to Caussin in 2015 until they split in 2021 after years of infidelity from the latter.

Allan is the father of a son Troy, 16, and a former stepdaughter Claudia, whom he raises together with his former partner.

Jane previously said her children are “super excited” about the arrival of a new sibling.

She described in detail the moment he proposed to her, telling how they had just returned from a walk with her children in their new neighborhood.

“It was a really beautiful evening. We all sat on the porch of the steps and looked at the view, it’s breathtaking,” she said.

“And he said my name and I stood up or something and he got down on one knee and then Jolie just started jumping up and down, it was so cute, it was like she knew what was happening.”
