Jamie Oliver’s son Buddy wowed fans this week after the celebrity chef shared a video of the 10-year-old preparing a tuna pasta dish on Instagram.
In a clip shared on the star’s social media yesterday, Buddy was in high spirits as he whipped up a ‘super easy’ tuna pasta recipe, which he said was ‘delicious’.
The 10-year-old showed off his knife skills as he sliced up leeks and garlic for the recipe, before adding a can of tomatoes and tuna and cooking the pasta.
Sharing the clip, which was titled ‘Cooking Buddies’, Jamie wrote: ‘Who’s in #HalfTerm this week? My boy Buddy has a ton of delicious recipes for you and the kids on my website, like this super easy tuna pasta… he inherits his love for pasta from his dad haha.
Many of the chef’s followers were impressed by the video, with one writing: “I think he might be following in dad’s footsteps, but with his own style.” I like it!’

Meanwhile, another wrote: “You are definitely your father’s son.”

A quarter commented that it was a ‘mini Jamie’, while another wrote: ‘It’s natural’.
At the beginning of the video, an enthusiastic Buddy said: ‘Hi guys, it’s me Buddy and today I’m going to show you how to make one of my favorite dishes: tuna pasta.
‘The thing is, I’ve never done it before and we’re just going to see how it goes. And you’re coming with me!
He explained that he was going to chop up a leek, using the ‘tap chop’ method and said, ‘You want nice thin slices.
He then used a ‘cross-cut method’ to cut the leeks into smaller pieces, adding the pieces to an oiled skillet.
He added a chilli and explained: ‘After chopping the chilli, I’ll wash my hands, because once I was on a trip and I touched a chilli and touched my eyes.
Meanwhile, many of Jamie’s fans praised the 10-year-old in the video, with some calling him a “natural” in the kitchen.
“It didn’t work out, I can’t say it’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me.”
Posing as his mother in a high-pitched voice, he said, “My mother told me not to do it, she said, ‘No dude, don’t do that! Not a good idea!’
The 10 year old added his garlic to the pan and said “You can see all the leeks and chilli have caramelized but be careful at this stage you don’t want to burn yourself.”
She added a can of tomatoes, pouring them into her hands and squeezing the tomatoes to release their juice.
He said, ‘Now we’re going to add the tuna, we’re going to flake it up here.’
In the clip, the 10-year-old could be seen carefully cutting a leek and offering cooking tips to Jamie’s fans.
He continued to whip up the tuna dish, before adding the spaghetti to a skillet, calling the meal “lovely.”
Buddy added a pinch of pepper and some water before cooking the spaghetti and said, “The pasta will soften naturally.”
After draining the pasta and pouring it into the sauce, he said, ‘Lovely, lovely, lovely.’
He mixed the pasta and sauce before putting the food on a plate. And she added: ‘Don’t be mean to me in the comments!’
The 10-year-old boy cheekily wiped the edge of the plate with his sleeve, before grating Parmesan cheese on top of the plate.
He said: ‘Let’s try it! This is definitely better than dads.
Buddy is one of five children of celebrity chef Jamie he shares with his wife Jools and seems to share his love of cooking.
The video was praised by Jamie’s followers, with even star Jennifer Anniston liking the clip.
Jamie shares four other children with his wife Jools, Poppy, 20, Daisy, 19, Petal, 13, and River, six, were seen giggling as they lay on a bed together.
Buddy isn’t the only famous kid who’s been trying his hand at cooking in recent weeks.
David and Victoria Beckham’s son, Brooklyn, has been cooking for Instagram videos for the past few years as he shares basic tips with his followers on foods like burgers and sandwiches.
