Jamie Lee Curtis beamed with pride as she took to the red carpet Tuesday night with her adopted daughters Ruby, 26, and Annie, 35, at the Los Angeles premiere of Halloween Ends.

The actress, 63, and her girls posed for shutterbugs before heading to the famous TCL Chinese Theater for a screening of the horror film.

In July 2021, Curtis revealed to the world that her youngest daughter is a male-to-female transgender and had changed her name from Thomas to Ruby.

A male-to-female transgender (MTF), often referred to as a transwoman or transgender woman, is someone who is assigned a male at birth but identifies as female.

A transgender person is someone whose birth gender does not match their gender identity. This includes those who identify as non-binary or genderqueer.

Curtis proudly said: AARP magazine that she and her husband Christopher Guest, 74, “watched with wonder and pride as our son became our daughter Ruby.”

The couple adopted Ruby in 1996 when she was a newborn.

Curtis arrived at the star-studded premiere Tuesday, hand-in-hand with Ruby and Annie, who were adopted by the actress and husband Guest in 1986.

The Halloween franchise star stunned in a sparkly red off-the-shoulder dress that clung to her slim physique.

The silver-haired beauty styled her chic pixie cut with pomade and enhanced her natural beauty with a glamorous, yet soft makeup look.

Curtis adorned with a pair of dazzling diamond earrings.

Ruby, often caught beaming at her famous mother, looked radiant in a glittering silver frock beneath a cropped black jacket.

Her curly brunette hair rose above her shoulders and she let her flawless complexion take center stage by opting for minimal makeup.

Annie cut a sexy figure in a black strapless dress with a daring thigh-high split with silver roses embroidered on the bust.

Her golden blond hair was styled smooth and held back with rhinestone barrettes.

In last year’s AARP interview, conducted with Ruby’s permission, Curtis explained that she’s ditched the “old idea” that gender is fixed and instead leans on the idea that life is a “constant metamorphosis.”

The actress has previously expressed support for trans people for several years and shared a Huffington Post article on Twitter in 2017: “Dear trans kids. The letter we all wish we had written. (from a translator).’

Last year she also signed on to direct and star in a TV movie about GLAAD Media Institute alumnus Sara Cunningham. Cunningham is the founder of Free Mom Hugs, which celebrates the LGBTQIA+ community. She also spoke excitedly about Ruby’s upcoming wedding.

Curtis’s kids are private — having attended only a handful of events with their mom — but Ruby gave her mom permission to share two personal information with AARP, the other being her upcoming wedding.

“She and her fiancé are getting married next year at a wedding I’ll be leading,” the Halloween star said.

Curtis didn’t say whether Ruby is marrying a man or woman, although Ruby shared a photo with a friend in 2019.

Last year, Curtis admitted that she and her 37-year-old husband “still slip occasionally” by tricking Ruby into calling her by her birth name.

‘It speaks a new language. It teaches new terminology and words. I’m new to it. I am not one who pretends to know much about it. And I’m going to blow it, I’m going to make mistakes. I want to try to avoid big mistakes,” the Halloween Kills producer star told People.

Halloween Ends is the final chapter in the David Gordon Green-directed trilogy that kicked off with Halloween in 2018. The sequel Halloween Kills was released in 2021.

Halloween Ends hits theaters on Friday, October 14 and on NBC’s Peacock streaming platform.

After starring in the slasher, she returned as strides in Halloween II (1981), Halloween H20: 20 Years Later (1998), and Halloween: Resurrection (2002).

Fans were thrilled when Curtis signed on to lead Gordon Green’s Halloween trilogy as an elderly Laurie Strode, who has her sights set on ending Myers’ carnage for good.

In a recent interview with the guardCurtis called her alter-ego a “feminist hero” and a character who pushed boundaries at a time when female roles were forced into “basic types.”
