Jamie Lee Curtis DEMANDED end to ‘bull**** conspiracy theories’ about Princess Kate Middleton ahead of shock cancer diagnosis reveal

Jamie Lee Curtis called for an end to ‘bull**** conspiracy theories’ about Catherine, Princess of Wales, just hours before her shock cancer diagnosis was revealed.

Shortly before Kate Middleton made the announcement, the 65-year-old actress took to Instagram to ask people to stop making theories about her and her whereabouts.

After the 42-year-old royal revealed Friday that she has been absent from public duties as she battles the disease, the Freaky Friday star sent her “best wishes to her and her family.”

In her first post, Curtis wrote: ‘Can we please just STOP this bull**** conspiracy theory? This is a human being with young children, and clearly a health problem. That’s a private matter.’

As stars in Hollywood call for an apology to the princess, she added: ‘Don’t we have better things to do and more important things to think and worry about than this? It really is a low point in our society when there are SO MANY critical issues that need our attention.”

After Curtis shared her message, the princess opened up about her diagnosis during a televised speech on Friday evening. In a video, she thanked people for “all the wonderful messages of support” and explained that she was diagnosed with cancer after undergoing abdominal surgery in January.

She later added in a follow-up comment, “now Princess Kate has told us about her health.”

“Now we have to send nothing but our best wishes to her and her family and focus on our own lives and the lives of people directly connected to us,” she wrote. “And the countless life-threatening issues for our children that we can focus on.”

Since then, she says she has been recovering from the surgery and is undergoing “preventive” chemotherapy.

“I wanted to take this opportunity to personally thank you for all the wonderful messages of support and for your understanding while I was recovering from surgery,” the Princess said.

“It’s been an incredibly tough few months for our entire family,” she continued. ‘But I have had a fantastic medical team who have taken great care of me – for which I am so grateful.

“In January I had major abdominal surgery in London,” she added. “And at the time, it was thought that my condition was not cancerous.”

“The operation was successful,” she explained. ‘However, there had been tests for cancer after the operation.

‘This obviously came as a huge shock, and William and I have done everything we can to process and manage this privately for the sake of our young family.’

Speaking about their three children, the future queen said: ‘It has taken us time to explain everything to George, Charlotte and Louis in a way that suits them, and to reassure them that I am doing well.’

The princess is now on what is being described as a ‘recovery journey’ after starting a course of chemotherapy at the end of February.
