Jamie Laing has revealed why he is ‘scared of having children’ with wife Sophie Habboo, despite both wanting a baby.

But on a recent episode of his Great Company podcast, Jamie’s producer Jemima interviewed him, and they discussed why he’s afraid of having children.
Jamie, 36, explained: ‘I would love to have one but it’s been a really long road because I was really scared of babies and I was really scared of commitment.
‘The idea that you can’t escape something, with work or even a divorce, there is always a way out. But with a baby there is no way out. There is no way out because you are forever connected to that little person and that is really quite scary for me.
He added: ‘Still very scary, it’s a real fear. To the point where Sophie thought she was pregnant early last year and I had to leave the restaurant because I was so stressed.

‘First of all, that’s not a good partner. It made me very nervous, but it also made Sophie very scared, because as a partner you want someone who is safe and relaxed, and that made her uncomfortable.’
Sophie, 31, previously predicted that her husband Jamie will be a disaster when it comes to welcoming children.
Jamie admitted: ‘I’m going to hate it. I really don’t think I can handle you being in pain.”
Sophie then suggested that someone else might be present at the birth, such as her mother.
She added, “I think you’re going to have to have a Xanax or something at that point because your anxiety is going to scare me through the roof.
‘I’m sure you’ll say, ‘We’ll never do that again.’ Because you found it so traumatic. And you will definitely tell my birth story to everyone.”
It comes after the pair took the festive atmosphere to a new level by recreating an iconic scene from Christmas classic Bridget Jones’s Diary.
The couple and Newlyweds podcast hosts put their acting skills to the test as they treated their listeners to a new Instagram reel to sign off for the year.

The lovebirds tied the knot in April last year in a first ceremony in London, and a second in Spain three weeks later
The duo created none other than the final scene in which Bridget (Renée Zellweger) is forced to put on her ‘little panties’ and run half-naked through the snowy streets of London in an attempt to stop Mark Darcy (Colin Firth) from escaping. go away.
It comes after Mark finds her infamous diary in her flat, which is full of insults towards him, and when Bridget returns to the room she discovers it has disappeared.
Assuming her new lover had run away in a rage, she sprinted out with nothing on her lower body but her leopard print underwear – only to discover that he had actually just gone to buy her a new diary.
Of course, Jamie hilariously took on the role of Bridget for the video, with Sophie pretending to be Mark Darcy – and they added their own cheeky twist.
In the sketch, Jamie exclaimed: “Definitely an opportunity for really tiny panties!” while he left Sophie to read magazines in the other room.
Then she found his diary, which read: “But listeners think Sophie is sexier than me, but she is NOT. I hate her! I hate her!’
Jamie was wearing almost exactly the same outfit as Bridget and realized that Sophie had left and run around London behind her.
After sprinting off and running into “producer Ewan,” Jamie and Sophie continue to reenact the iconic moment as they kiss and Jamie exclaims, “Good girls don’t kiss like that!”
Sophie jokes: ‘Yes, they do!’ and then the couple signs off by shouting, “Merry Christmas!”
They also posted a behind-the-scenes video showing the extent to which the camera crew followed them during the Christmas shoot.
