He has now reportedly signed with LA-based managers United Talent Agency.

A source told the publication: ‘

Jamie has been with YMU for years and on a personal level he gets along well with the team.

“But in recent months things have become increasingly complicated and tense, in terms of the direction he thinks he should go and the direction they think would work for him.

“Ultimately, Jamie wants to go global and YMU is not the best fit for that.”

YMU is reportedly ‘disappointed’ to lose him.

His controversial move came just days after he revealed the shock incident that left him feeling like he was going to die when he opened up about living with anxiety.

During Thursday’s episode of Good Morning Britain, Jamie revealed that he had his first panic attack at the age of 20 and took himself to hospital because he thought he was going to die.

Describing the feeling of a panic attack, Jamie said: ‘You feel like you’re dying. I thought I was having a heart attack.’

Jamie said he experienced fear from that day on, but hid it for years out of shame.

“I hid my fear for years,” he told GMB presenters Ed Balls and Susanna Reid.

‘I had the typical panic attack at the age of 20, didn’t know what it was, took myself to hospital and hid it for years.

‘It’s a heightened feeling, you feel like you’re going to die. I thought I was having a heart attack. It feels like your body is taking over you and the adrenaline is going through the roof because you are hyperventilating. The chest becomes tight, you feel dizzy, you feel as if you are going to faint.

‘I took myself to the hospital and they said you’re having a panic attack, don’t worry, go home – and that was the day my life changed.

‘I was afraid that I didn’t know what it was, that I didn’t understand it and never talked about it.’

When asked why it took him so long to speak out about his fear, Jamie said: ‘To be honest, I was ashamed of it at the time. I didn’t know what it was and I just wanted it to go away.”

“It was there for many years until I spoke to a very good friend of mine who was best man at my wedding, a man called Toby, and I finally called him,” Jamie continued.

‘I got very emotional on the phone and I said, ‘Toby, there’s something wrong with me’ and I was afraid what he was going to say and he said, ‘Don’t worry Jamie, we’ll get through it together’ – and it this ultrasound was back, that was incredible.

“I suddenly realized that I had been holding it in all these years and why hadn’t I spoken out about it?”
