The former Made In Chelsea stars tied the knot in front of their loved ones at the Chelsea Registry Office last April before jetting off to Spain for a second lavish ceremony in May.

During the latest episode of their podcast Newlyweds, Sophie, 30, couldn’t contain her emotions as she revealed to Jamie, 35, that she is now officially ‘Mrs Sophie Laing’.

In the NewlyWeds episode, Sophie read a poem in which she said: ‘It’s been a wonderful year since I became your wife, and saying I’m doing something with you was the best decision of my life.

‘We’ve laughed more and fought less since we got married, we’ve become more and more strange and often pretend to be dead.

“You play endless games and tricks with me, my god, and the way we meow at each other is a little strange.

‘You rub your abs five times a day to check if they’re still there, and scratching and sniffing your butt never goes well.

“I think it’s clear that there’s no one I laugh with more and life is infinitely better with you in it, that’s for sure.”

She continued, “Truly my best friend, you build me up in everything and I am so proud of you and all the endless joy you bring.

“It’s cute that we have our own weird little language and I’m happiest because you’re my home.”

“I honestly feel safer with you than anyone else, you are my teammate forever and have been in my corner since day one.”

‘Put me first in every way, the nicest man ever, how lucky we are to be able to live life together.

“You fill in all my holes and you fill in mine too, you see, I’m just completely me and you love me for me.

During the latest episode of their podcast Newlyweds, Sophie, 30, couldn’t contain her emotions as she revealed to Jamie, 35, that her name is now officially ‘Mrs Sophie Laing’.

It comes after The Sun reported Jamie slept with socialite, Buying London’s Rosi Walden, behind Sophie’s back five years ago.

“If you always show up for me, I’m sure I won’t forget all the times you’ve been there, I’m sure.”

Bursting into tears, Sophie concluded: ‘Happy birthday from me, Mrs Sophie Laing. Yes, that’s right Laing. I’ve officially changed my name.’

Jamie couldn’t believe the news and quickly got up to give Sophie a kiss during filming.

He replied, ‘Didn’t you? No, you haven’t? Do you actually have that? What! are you joking or are you serious? I didn’t expect that! I gotta give you a hug, that means the world.

“Honey, that’s a lot, did you actually change your name? I didn’t expect you to do that, but that’s the coolest thing you could ever do. I’m really withdrawn. That’s so great. I love you so much. I’m so glad I married you.’

It comes after The Sun reported on May 1 that Jamie slept with a socialite behind Sophie’s back five years ago.

The woman, Rosi Walden, recently joined the cast of the new Selling Sunset spin-off, Buying London.

Rosi made a fleeting appearance on Made in Chelsea around the time of the affair but was not seen again.

In the episode of reality show C4, Rosi asks co-star Verity Bowditch: ‘What happens to Jamie and Habbs now?’

Verity replies: ‘They’re dating, they’re seeing how things are going, they’re very happy… why are you in doubt?’

Rosi then said, “I have a situation, which I was talking to you about, about me seeing someone, well, it’s kind of complicated.”

A shocked Verity asked if it was Jamie and Rosi said: ‘Yes, and the worst part is that it’s obviously happening at the same time as this thing with Habbs. “It wasn’t just once, and even after polo he still texted me.”

Jamie had been dating Sophie for a few months at the time and later admitted he was ‘not proud’ of his behaviour.

Sophie also said at the time that things were ‘never smooth sailing’ on the show and that there was ‘a lot of remorse for sins’.

On Saturday Jamie co-hosted the Radio 1 Big Weekend at Stockwood Park in Luton with Katie Thistleton.

During an appearance on Good Morning Britain on Wednesday, Jamie told ITV viewers that Sophie ‘really surprised’ him by legally changing her name.

Speaking to Suzanna Reid and Martin Lewis, he admitted he had ‘tears in his eyes’ when Sophie revealed the news to him.

He said: ‘It was really sweet and emotional that she surprised me that she had changed her name during our podcast and I had tears in my eyes. I was emotional, it really surprised me.”

It comes after Jamie recently admitted that since becoming a married man he has become ‘lazy’ in the bedroom.

Speak with The sun on SundayJamie confessed that Sophie always jokes that he is ‘the standard’ in the bedroom, and now that they are married he ‘doesn’t feel like performing anymore’.

He said: ‘I used to start with joined writing and then I thought, ‘I can’t worry about that because it’s faster for me not to do it together.’ So I’m kind of in the bedroom.

“I don’t give up halfway through, but I do remember once I rolled over on top of Sophie and she said, ‘Oh, keep going.'”

Jamie added that he suggested Sophie see a marriage counselor to help them communicate effectively.

He added that they now have bi-monthly sessions, and it has made them “more empathetic” when discussing any issues in their relationship.

Sophie and Jamie first met when they starred together in Made In Chelsea, and rekindled their romance in 2019 after being friends for several years.

Jamie described her as ‘the kindest, most empathetic person he has ever met’ and also shared that he wants a big family with Sophie in the future.

Sophie previously revealed to MailOnline that she and Jamie are planning to buy their first property together as they look to the future as husband and wife.

Sophie and Jamie married in April 2023 in an intimate legal ceremony at the Chelsea Registry Office with a small group of friends and family.

The couple then flew to Spain, where their main wedding took place in May 2023 in Sotogrande, Andalusia’s largest private residential area.

Sophie stunned in a lace Emma Beaumont dress as they tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in front of a star-studded crowd.

Sophie and Jamie’s relationship was well documented during their time on Made In Chelsea.

The pair’s close friendship slowly turned to romance in mid-2019, but they were both initially hesitant to start dating, in case it ruined what they had.

The pair were previously best friends before their friendship turned to romance on Made In Chelsea and they started dating five years ago.

Candy Kittens founder Jamie popped the question during a romantic proposal at London’s Rosewood Hotel in December 2021.
