Jamie Foxx’s friend Kevin Hart says he is ‘getting better’
Kevin Hart gave a positive health update to Jamie Foxx, revealing that ‘there is a lot of progress’ during Tuesday’s episode of the Impulsive Podcastwhich comes three weeks after the actor suffered a medical emergency.
Despite his hospitalization, the Django Unchained star, 55, broke silence about his health situation on Instagram earlier Wednesday to express that he felt “blessed” by the love and support he has received.
The comedian, 43, explained to host, Logan Paul, “I’m lucky to have the relationship that I have with Jamie and I can just check in with him and things like that.”
The Me Time actor added that Foxx’s family was still “close-knit” and for reasons he’s about, because Jamie has always been a private person to some degree.
Kevin stated that the outpouring of love has had a major impact on Jamie’s recovery. “The crazy thing is he’s getting better in his situation, and you know, everyone’s prayers, everyone’s love, energy. All that stuff is seen and felt.’

“So in this case, man, you know, you just want the man to get out of the situations and then go back home,” the Die Hart star continued.
“You know, I don’t know the specifics, or the exact details of what’s going on, but as far as I know, there’s a lot of progress and a world of better, man.”
The comedian touchingly added of his close friend, “So you know, my love, synergy, energy goes out to him. He is needed, he is needed. I know he knows that.’
“I know he feels that because there has been a wave of protest and support in this regard. So I can only hope it continues,” Hart added of the Oscar winner.
On Wednesday, Jamie himself took to his main Instagram page to express his gratitude for the overwhelming support he has received following a medical emergency last month on April 11.
Appreciate all the love!!! I feel blessed,” he wrote to his 16.2 million fans and followers. Social media users, including celebrities, jumped to the comment section to continue sending their love for the Ray actor.
Jeremy Renner, who spent time in hospital following a snowplow accident earlier in January, wrote: “Sending you strength and love,” followed by a red heart emoji.
Backstreet Boys member, AJ McLean wrote, “Hey bro. AJ from Backstreet Boys my man you are in my prayers day and night bro. Let’s get you better and home.” Fast & Furious star Vin Diesel added a praying hands emoji.

On April 12, Jamie’s daughter, Corinne Foxx, issued a statement on Instagram to announce that her father was in hospital due to a “medical complication,” but did not release any further details.
“From the Foxx family: We wanted to share that, my dad, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday. Fortunately, he is already on his way to recovery through quick action and good care.’
“We know how loved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time. Lots of love, The Foxx Family.”
Prior to his Georgia hospitalization, Jamie was notably in Atlanta to film his latest project titled Back In Action, with Cameron Diaz also taking on a lead role in the film. The actress’ last big movie was the remake of Annie, which premiered almost 10 years ago in 2014.
As he continues to recover from his health condition, shooting for Back In Action has resumed, with stunt doubles taking Jamie’s place from now on, reported People.

It was also announced on Wednesday that Nick Cannon will be filling in as a guest host for Jamie on Fox’s Beat Shazam.
The series is a music game show where teams of two try to identify hit songs, and the team with the most money then compete against the Shazam app, with the opportunity to win $1 million.
Corrine also reposted the statement, stating, “Beat Shazam has been an unscripted mainstay on the FOX schedule for six seasons.”
In order not to let game show fans miss a minute of fun this season, Nick Cannon has volunteered to fill in as a guest host for his friends, Jamie and Corinne Foxx. Kelly Osbourne will fill in as guest DJ.’
“Everyone at FOX Entertainment wishes Jamie well as he continues to recover, and we greatly appreciate Nick’s willingness to jump in and help this summer.” The sixth season of the game show will premiere later this month on May 23.
