Jamie Foxx’s daughter Corrine ties the knot with Joe Hooten in lavish ceremony – as proud father walks his daughter down the aisle over a year after being hospitalized
Jamie Foxx proudly walked his eldest daughter and Beats Shazam co-star Corinne Foxx down the aisle during her lavish wedding to college sweetheart Joe Hooten in Los Angeles on Saturday.
The 56-year-old Oscar winner also enjoyed a miraculous father-daughter dance with the 30-year-old bride at her reception, 17 months after he suffered a near-death experience due to a “medical complication” that left him in a coma for 20 days and unable to walk.
“I hope he can walk down the aisle without crying,” Corinne — whose mother is Air Force veteran Connie Kline — told Access to Hollywood last may.
“I don’t think he’s going to make it! He’s really excited.”
The wedding footage was shared by Garcelle Beauvais, who played Jamie’s lead actress on The WB sitcom The Jamie Foxx Show (1996-2001) and in Roland Emmerich’s 2013 film White House Down.

“Your love and respect for each other is palpable. Corinne, you looked beautiful!”
Foxx (born Corinne Marie Bishop) met her groom while he was a student at USC, where she earned a degree in public relations and he earned a degree in film and television production.
Joe proposed to the DJ in Chicago last December after a five-year romance.
The newlyweds’ Over the Moon wedding registry included items ranging from a $65 Issy Granger candlestick to a more expensive $1,850 Match Insieme knife set.
Hooten currently serves as president of the television division of John Wells Productions, which is handling projects such as the MGM+ series Emperor of Ocean Park and Fox’s Rescue: HI-Surf.
