Jamie Foxx has officially returned to the set of his upcoming film, Back In Action, for the first time following his near-death emergency nine months earlier.
The 56-year-old Django Unchained actor — whose daughter Corrine recently got engaged — was also spotted with his co-star, Cameron Diaz, as he prepared to film scenes for the action comedy in Atlanta on Saturday.
The Oscar winner kept it casual by wearing a black long-sleeved sweater and dark blue pants.
He also donned black ankle socks and comfortable white sneakers tied with laces.
Foxx strolled out, shoving his hands in the pockets of his pants, and was soon joined by The Mask actress, who also dressed for the busy day of filming.

The project’s plot synopsis has remained largely under wraps, and a firm release date has yet to be announced.
Notably, in April last year, while filming Back In Action in Georgia, Jamie was admitted to hospital – which was revealed by his daughter Corinne at the time.
Most details about the actor’s medical issue have remained private, but in May 2023, she took to her Instagram Stories to provide an update on Foxx’s condition.
‘My father has been recovering from hospital for weeks. In fact, he played pickleball yesterday! Thank you for everyone’s prayers and support!’

The comedian explained to host Logan Paul: “I’m lucky to have the relationship that I have with Jamie and just being able to check on him and stuff like that.”
The Me Time actor added that Foxx’s family “stayed tight and for reasons that are kind of true, because Jamie has always been a private person to some extent.”
Kevin stated that the outpouring of love has had a major impact on Jamie’s recovery. “The nice thing is he’s getting better in his situation, and you know, everyone’s prayers, everyone’s love, energy. All that stuff is seen and felt.”
“So in this case, man, you just want the guy to get out of the situation and then go home,” the Die Hart star continued.
“You know, I don’t know the details or the exact details of what’s going on, but as far as I know there’s a lot of progress and a world of better, man.”
