Jamie Foxx apologizes for sharing allegedly anti-Semitic comments on social media… after Jennifer Aniston denounces hate and dislikes post
Jennifer Aniston and Jamie Foxx both try to clear up some controversial social media misunderstandings.
The row started when Jamie, 55, posted an angry message saying: ‘They killed a guy called Jesus… what do you think they’ll do to you???!’ followed by the hashtags #fakefriends and #fakelove.
Someone named Jennifer Aniston seemed to “like” the comments, which were subsequently labeled anti-Semitic.
“Actor Jamie Foxx posts horrific anti-Semitic messages to his 16.7 million followers,” wrote the A Wide Frame account, which noted the offensive post.
For centuries, Jews have been blamed for the death of Jesus, and the alleged deicide has been used as an excuse for oppression and violence against them.

Some far-right Christians still believe this.
A wide frame publishes a newsletter to “give subscribers a better general understanding and scope of world Jewish news,” and uses various messages in its stories to dispel the myth that the Jews killed Jesus.
Jennifer, 54, who was embroiled in the controversy, was quick to denounce it and denied any connection to it in her Instagram Stories.
“This is really making me sick,” she wrote.
“I purposely or accidentally didn’t ‘like’ this post,” the Morning Show star claimed.
There are dozens of fan accounts on social media under the name Jennifer Aniston.
And more importantly, I want to be clear to my friends and anyone who has been hurt by this appearing in their feeds: I do NOT support any form of anti-Semitism. And I really do not tolerate any form of HATE. Period of time.’
On Saturday morning, Jamie, who was recovering from hospitalization and health issues, attempted to rectify the situation by writing his own explanation on his now-deleted post.
“I want to apologize to the Jewish community and to anyone who was offended by my post. I now know that my chosen words have caused offense and I am sorry. That was never my intention.’ claimed the Oscar winner.

Controversy: The controversy started when Jewish group A Wider Frame labeled Jamie’s now-deleted post as anti-Semitic and someone named Jennifer Aniston “liked” it. The Morning Show actress denied any connection and denounced anti-Semitism
Apologies: Jamie, who is recovering from a health issue, apologized for his choice of words and clarified the meaning of the previous post, explaining that he was referring to a ‘fake friend’ and not the Jewish community
Vouch: Jamie’s friend Adam Weitsman was quick to defend him, writing, “I would always vouch for you…”
“Just to clarify, I was betrayed by a fake boyfriend and that’s what I meant by ‘she’, nothing more,” he explained.
“I have only love in my heart for everyone. I love and support the Jewish community. My sincerest apologies to anyone who was offended. Nothing but love always, Jamie Foxx.’
Jamie’s friend Adam Weitsman was quick to defend himself, writing, “I know you personally, I’m Jewish and know you are the last person who would EVER act anti-Semitic.”
“You are kind and considerate to everyone. I would always vouch for you.’
