Located in Denver, an hour from Melbourne, the five-bedroom, three-bathroom house is famous for its exquisitely sculpted private garden.
High-profile landscape architect Paul Bangay has sold his spectacular estate in rural Victoria to famed gardener Jamie Durie and two business partners for around $11 million.
Durie and his partners plan to convert the 15.8-acre sprawl into a luxury retreat.
Known as ‘Stonefields’, the estate is situated in the foothills near Kyneton in the Macedon Ranges.
With a Tuscan-inspired design, the main residence is set amidst rolling pastures and surrounded by oak trees and gardens.

It comes after Durie announced his involvement in an architectural consortium planning to build a $70 million luxury resort in Tasmania.
The horticulturist’s complex will include 30 private suites with ocean views.
Durie has previously designed luxury resorts in Thailand, the US and Port Douglas, but this is his first foray into real estate development.
The reality star is an equal partner in the firm with Lambrinos and Jacobs. The trio bought a 110-hectare former tulip farm last year for an undisclosed amount on Tasmania’s northwest coast at Table Cape, overlooking Bass Strait.
