‘You don’t trade Tuchel for Potter. Ridiculous decision to start with’: Jamie Carragher insists Todd Boehly should NEVER have changed managers in the first place as he calls firing the Blues boss ‘INEVITABLE’

Jamie Carragher claims it was a “ridiculous decision to start with” to replace Thomas Tuchel with Graham Potter, after it was announced that the Chelsea manager had been sacked by the club earlier tonight.
The pressure had been mounting on Potter, who replaced Tuchel in September, following a slump that had seen him win just nine of his 11 league games in charge of the football club.
However, Carragher believed it was wrong for Chelsea to name Potter in Tuchel’s wake in the first place, after the German manager was sacked by the club, despite winning the Champions League with Chelsea in 2021.
“Todd said it would be different than Roman,” Carragher wrote on Twitter, in response to Chelsea’s official announcement that Potter had been sacked.
“I feel sorry for Graham Potter, but it was inevitable,” he added. ‘You don’t trade Tuchel for Potter. A ridiculous decision to begin with.
