Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher received a hilarious language lesson from CBS Sports’ special guest ahead of the Champions League final at Wembley.
The broadcaster shocked fans when they confirmed that their regular group of analysts – Thierry Henry, Carragher and Micah Richards – would be joined by the likes of Dora the Explorer.
The Nickelodeon cartoon character interacted with the panel and gave them a lesson on the correct pronunciation of Serie A champions Inter Milan.
However, she reserved special attention for Carragher, who seemed unable to discover the club’s full name; Internazionale.
During the joyful segment of the conversation, the Liverpudlians struggled to follow Dora’s instructions.

“Oh, you almost had it Jamie,” she commented after his second attempt, “before – with the help of his fellow panellists – the 46-year-old met her very high standards.
Fans had reacted with shock to last week’s announcement, with one writing: “What the hell is Dora doing there?”
Others embraced the news with another posting ‘Dora is about to give the best insight there is’, while a third said: ‘I can’t wait to hear and see Dora, let’s go’.
This is not the first time that Dora the Explorer has been part of the coverage of major sporting events.
The beloved character appeared as an honorary “rules expert” during Super Bowl coverage earlier this year.
Various cartoon characters were used in alternative messaging, intended to introduce children to the sport and explain the rules.
CBS Sports will also include NBA star Joel Embiid, the league’s 2023 Most Valuable Player.
The Philadelphia 76s star admitted earlier this year that he would rather be a footballer than a basketball player.
Embiid is a Real Madrid fan and will be hoping the Spanish giants will set a record and extend their 15th Champions League win at Wembley.
