James McAvoy shows off his bulging biceps in a grey vest as he chills out at a coffee shop

James McAvoy showed up in fine form as he showed off his bulging biceps while chilling in a North London coffee shop.

The actor, 44, was sure to turn heads when he showed off his handsome figure in a gray cardigan, which he paired with dark shorts and a navy and mustard sports cap.

James seemed deep in thought and seemed to be reading a script while taking some time for himself at the local coffee shop.

The Atonement star seemed content in his own company as he poured over the papers and sipped water and coffee.

However, he was soon joined by wife Lisa Liberati and their young son, who went to his table.

Lisa looked smart and casual in a black jumper and bold blue trousers as she pushed the toddler along in his buggy.

The two reportedly only stayed for a short while before taking to the streets.

After his time off, James donned a black sweater before heading to a nearby gym.

It comes after James revealed in December that he plans to step back from acting to spend more time with his family in a new interview with The observer.

The publication reports that the actor recently welcomed a baby boy with his new wife Lisa Liberati.

The Scottish star already has a 12-year-old son named Brendan with his ex-wife Anne-Marie Duff.

He said he didn’t want to “spend all my days on set” and was trying to slow down to be a more “present family member.”

James said, “I put quite a lot into it and I love it. But I don’t want to live to work. The industry is great and it’s given me a great life. But it survives on the sacrificial nature of performance. The film industry or the TV industry, they just use you up.’

He added that he doesn’t want to end up as Bill Murray’s movie star character in Lost In Translation, where he is “estranged from his wife and kids.”

He continued, “Do I keep chasing, keep moving forward, keep trying to climb the ladder, the mountain, all that sort of thing. Or do I just continue to enjoy acting – but then take my foot off the pedal. And not feeling like I’ll never work again. Or I’m going to lose momentum, which I arguably have, if I don’t take every great job that comes my way. You need to slow down a bit.’

James continued, “It’s just not possible to be a current family member when you’re a filmmaker every week of the year, every month of the year. Theater is different – if you’re doing tons and tons and tons of theatre, you’re invariably gone six nights a week. But during the day you are there more. It really is film and television – it just drains you. It’s also a delight and I love it. But I can’t spend all my days on set.”

The Private X-Men star confirmed his marriage to Lisa last year, after years of speculation.

James reflected on his identity at The Guardian newspaper, and the publication reported of him and Lisa: “They began a relationship a few years later and, he confirms, recently married.”

Since Lisa is from Philadelphia, James was asked if he is now an honorary Philadelphian and told the paper, “Yeah, it’s like a second home to me.”

James gave no further details about their marriage.

The couple started dating in 2018 after meeting on the set of Split in America.

James had a starring role in the film while Lisa was a production assistant for director M. Night Shyamalan.

The protagonist was married to actress Anne-Marie Duff at the time, but was about to divorce her after 11 years of marriage.

Just two months after the divorce was finalized, the new couple posted a number of photos of themselves on Instagram at a costume party to announce their relationship.

In 2019, they were rumored to be getting married when director Jamie Lloyd, who is a close friend of the Glasgow-born actor, was overheard about Lisa being James’s ‘wife’ saying they were ‘recently’ married.
