James Haskell ditched Chloe Madeley during a tense confrontation on their reality series, Chloe Madeley: A Family Affair.
The former rugby player, 38, had shared a series of photos with bikini-clad girls while he worked as a DJ in Ibiza, while Chloe, 36, stayed at home with their daughter Bodhi.
The racy photos had already caused a beef between the couple, with the personal trainer claiming her husband ‘looked like a**b’.
James and Chloe have since split, but their reality show – which was filmed a month before they split – highlighted the issue again.
Chloe tried to express her frustration and told James, “I hpost a really nasty tag on Instagram today under that really nasty post of yours on Ocean Beach with all those girls with their asses out. It was quite embarrassing.’
Shocking: James Haskell ditched Chloe Madeley during a tense confrontation on their reality series, Chloe Madeley: A Family Affair
Real? The former rugby player, 38, had shared a series of photos with bikini-clad girls while he worked as a DJ in Ibiza, while Chloe, 36, stayed at home with their daughter Bodhi.
When Chloe revealed that one of her followers had claimed she felt ‘pity’ for her, James angrily hit back: ‘Why didn’t you just tell them to f*ck off?’
The mother-of-one continued: ‘It’s almost like everyone knows you’re my husband and then you post a picture of yourself around these half-naked women with a huge grin on your face and then I post pictures of me and Bodhi at home.
“I’m just a little embarrassed that people feel sorry for me when I don’t want to.”
James refused to acknowledge her point, saying, “Well, then you shouldn’t feel like they’re ashamed of you.
‘Besides, shame is a feeling, not a thing. I didn’t embarrass you, you felt embarrassed. It all depends on your reality.
‘I’ll do it, it won’t change. I didn’t do anything, they’re there, they’re paid dancers, it just builds the brand.”
As Chloe reiterated that she found it ’embarrassing’, James replied: ‘Go talk to a therapist, it’s not my problem.’
Chloe previously didn’t hide her anger after James posted a series of videos and clips featuring a group of bikini-clad girls in Ibiza.
After seeing the pictures, she said: ‘He’s been uploading videos and pictures of all these girls on Instagram, and I was like, “I’m going to kill you. I’m going to fly to Ibiza and kill you.”
“He posted videos of him with a lot of girls in thongs” because he thinks he looks cool on social media. I’m like you’re a*** and you make me look like an a**. Stop it.’
Ouch: When Chloe revealed that one of her followers had claimed she felt ‘pity’ for her, James angrily hit back: ‘Why didn’t you just tell them to f*ck off?’
However, she did admit, “But he loves it. Honestly, at least he’s having fun. You know what I mean.’
Elsewhere in her reality show, Chloe revealed that she and James were undergoing couples counseling in an attempt to save their marriage.
Ultimately, their marriage couldn’t be saved when the couple announced this weekend that they had decided to go their separate ways.
Speaking on the show – which was filmed a month before their split – Chloe reflected on their past struggles as they were filmed recording a podcast.
She explained: “We’ve been going through a really tough time during lockdown – our marriage has been really tested,” prompting James to say: “Things aren’t much better now!”
Chloe joked back: “I know, I’m still in hell,” before adding: “We did couples counseling at the time.
‘I think it was my way of allaying my fears about the fact that people thought we were a great couple, but we were a very tempestuous couple and we would go through some really tough times.
‘I like that – I know it sounds crazy – but I do think it’s important that people can identify with what is normal in a relationship, what is not so normal, where the boundaries are…’
The couple formally announced their separation last weekend with a joint statement.
James and Chloe, who married in 2018, had fueled speculation about their relationship after the personal trainer emerged without her wedding ring while partying with friends – shortly after the former rugby player was pictured chatting to a mystery blonde outside a nightclub in London.
In a joint update shared on Instagram, they announced: “Chloe and I mutually decided to separate at the end of September 2023.
‘We had no intention of releasing a statement at the time – especially while the television show was airing – but the continued speculation about our marriage has unfortunately forced our hand.
“Other than this statement, we will not speak publicly about this matter and would like to request privacy at this time.
‘Our sole focus now is on our beautiful daughter. We will continue to co-parent with nothing but love.”

James shared his own statement on Instagram, adding: ‘It is with great sadness that I write this post, but unfortunately in the world we live in it has to be done.
“My priority is the happiness and safety of my daughter and Chloe. For that reason I will make no further comment.”
A source told MailOnline: ‘James is still living at the family home in London, he returned on Monday and was still there yesterday morning.’
A friend of the couple added: “It’s all so strange, and it all seems quite rum that Chloe has done a round of interviews and spoken very openly about her life and marriage, but she neglected to say that she and James had broken up despite her. television program that is all about her family life.’
