It comes after James and Chloe Madeley, 36, announced their split in October 2023, after ten years together and five years of marriage.
Chloe admitted the pair, who share 21-month-old daughter Bodhi, split because they both wanted their relationship to “stop being horrible” and “miserable”.
She told me OK! Magazine: ‘I’m never going to go into detail about why we broke up because it’s not fair to anyone and I wouldn’t want him to either, but what I will say is that it was fucking awful.’
“Part of the reason we wanted to end it was because we wanted it to stop being horrible, so why turn that into a breakup and have it continue to be horrible?”
‘It was difficult at first. You have to work at it, like everything in life, and we really did that.’

The daughter of TV stars Richard and Judy further admitted that she fell into situational depression after the breakup and “couldn’t” even respond to friends’ messages because she was unable to do “any self-care” for herself.
She added: ‘I’ve never actually had depression. Obviously it was very indirect, so I didn’t realize that when people say, ‘I can’t do something,’ you really can’t do it.”
‘Friends said, “Come over and have dinner,” but I couldn’t, I couldn’t even respond to emails. Other than taking care of Bodhi, I didn’t really do any self-care.”
It comes after Chloe spoke about their reality show Chloe Madeley: A Family Affair, which opened the doors to their family home shortly before the split.
During an appearance on Loose Women, she said: ‘There’s a lot going on behind closed doors that wasn’t on the show, but it’s amazing how many people have picked up on it.’
“We thought we did a good job, but apparently not.”
Reflecting on their divorce, she added: “I think there are pillars that keep a relationship going, like love and respect.”
“Over time, all our pillars fell apart and when that happens, there is no way to save it. We get along better now that we’re no longer together romantically.’

“Since we broke up, our relationship has become very respectful and we love each other as friends.”
“One of the things that was hard was that he was away DJing so much four or five nights a week, but that works for us now because I have my alone time and then he comes back and has his time with Bodhi. ‘
‘I’m happier now than ever and he’s happy too. There were horrible weeks where I struggled to get out of bed, but once I drew the line I was fine.”
“I want James to be happy, I want Bodhi to be happy and I want to be happy.”
